I've given people middle names so that when I get mad at them I can use their full name. Its sounds angrier.
i.e.
STOP MOCKING ALEX, ROBERT JAMES MARSHALL!

You got the middle name wrong.
I'm hurt. Really I am.

But thats the point. When I can't think of a middle name, I invent one. Its very efficient.

Someone I used to work with is called Hilary and his wife is called Hilary too. It was ok for us as his wife was always referred to as Mrs Hilary, but I can imagine things got a little confusing at home.

That would pretty much be the worst thing ever.
I'm also glad I didn't fall in love with a guy with the same name as my brother or my dad, cuz that would get weird.

If she married a Hank I'd run up to her and grab her nose and go "HANK HANK" in a really obnoxious voice and run away.
Like the wind.

Dudes, I just thought of something scary! My name is a man's name, and apparently quebec is full of the male type yannics.
I don't wanna know no one manly with my name!

It'd be creepy saying "I love you *fill in your own name here*".

I don't think I could do that.
Also, Soozy, you know a DUDE named Hilary?!

OK.
a) I've only met one Yannic here and it was a chick.
b) "I don't wanna know no one manly with my name!" <- I've read this about 30948 times and it still makes no sense to me.
c) Hilary is a British man's name

When I think of "Hilary" and "Hillary", I think of three things. Banks, Clinton, and Duff. So it's not a very manly name to me.

a) whew. (though it's kind of weird that I've met more yannics than you)
b) i don't want to meet
anyone who is a
man with
my name. (double negatives are confusing)
c) ashley's a man's name too!

I have a guy friend named Ashley and he takes a lot of heat for having a name that's commonly a woman's name. Although he's not the only Ashley around here.
And my husband has a more commonly girl's name. I'm told there are lots of guys with that name from the Cdn east coast which is where he was born. I had someone actually ask if I was a lesbian when they heard me mention my husband's name

Poor hubby!
