:GASP:

speaking of Liar, last night i dreamt that i was watching TV, and suddenly a video for Liar came on, and it was so... gorgeous. i remember saying that it reminded me of the Thief video, but different.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

A friend of mine heard Boy and thought it would be a horrible single... that people would say OLP is trying to sound like U2 to be popular.

I tend to agree with that point. The song is quite obviously modeled after U2. It's fine for the album, but I'd just leave it at that.

Picture would be a poorly timed single, I think. To go from A/L/S which is fairly soft (compared to other "rock" music on the radio), to a ballad with Picture seems kind of sloppy. A/L/S wasn't much of a chart-topper, so I don't think Picture would do much/any better.

The obvious choice of the three is WTFBU. It would be the only one of the three with a chance at popularity. A/L/S wasn't the rousing success I had hoped it would be (and WAY wasn't an astoudning single either). If you're looking for a song that will be popular, go with WTFBU.

Personally, I'm not even going to bother voting. The one song that I had hoped would be released already was. Then they went and ruined it with that shitty video.

oh well

bahahahahaha

I checked out the voting thing

You're not voting for the next single.

It's called marketing. Sony's trying to decide which song appeals to their key demographic.
