My list has some similarities to yours
I really haven't bought a lot of CDs this year... but here's goes:
Our Lady Peace - Healthy In Paranoid Times
Green Day - Bullet In A Bible
Oasis - Don't Believe The Truth
OK Go - Oh No
Foo Fighters - In Your Honor
Matthew Good - In A Coma
Also, released last year but I purchased this year:
U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
(going to another U2 concert tonight - can't wait!!)
I was planning to list all of the pop crap that I hate instead, but I just couldn't do it in case someone took me seriously!

1. The Bad Plus – Suspicious Activity?
2. Our Lady Peace – Healthy In Paranoid Times
3. Fiona Apple – Extraordinary Machine
4. The Duhks – The Duhks
5. Laura Veirs – Year Of Meteors
6. Ben Folds – Songs For Silverman
7. Jamie Cullum – Catching Tales
8. Dave Matthews Band – Stand Up
9. Nine Inch Nails – With Teeth
10. Tori Amos – The Beekeeper
I don't think there's any other CDs coming out this year that I'm really waiting for, but I guess this could get updated in the next month...I doubt it though!

UPDATE!
David Garza's self-titled CD definately makes my top 10 of the year. Let's see...I'll probably put it as...#7 pushing numbers 7 8 and 9 each down one. Poor Tori...I guess she gets bumbed down to "honerable mention"
For those who haven't heard of him, check his website out at
http://www.davidgarza.com where you can download a whole EP for free! I didn't even know who he was until I saw him open for Fiona Apple last night. Great show all the way around. David has a really unique sound...check him out!

I'm not sure if I have bought ten albums this year, so I'll just do my best.
In no particular order, other than the order I think of them
Ben Folds - Songs For Silverman
Our Lady Peace - Healthy In Paranoid Times
New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
Boa - Get There
and, um...
crap.

So...not a lot of great albums came out this year, imho.
My list would include
Motion City Soundtrack - Commit this to Memory
Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree
The Academy Is... - Almost Here
Green Day - Bullet in a Bible
Boys Night Out - Train Wreck
Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
and the newest Metric album who's title I can't remember.
They arn't really in any order other than when I thought of them. But not a whole lot impressed me this year. And I'm sort of surprised that OLP made it on to so many peoples lists. I enjoyed the album but I don't think I've listened to it in about a month or so. I wouldn't call it one of the best of 05 anyway.

I'd like to update my list and add Death Cab's "Plans" to my list. I put off listening to it untill a few days ago because I heard it was rather sub-par in comparision to "Transatlanticism" but now that I've listened to it, I dare say that I like it just as much as "Transatlanticism."

uhhh and... i thought this year was pretty good. at least better than last year. but i think thats only because of the new broken social scene and various concerts hahaha

to be fair i was expecting HUGE things. and it's a good album, just not to that extent.
it's like ben got too good at poetic writing and it all sounds so refined and similar.

Oh my GOD.
Today I heard Antony & The Johnsons album I Am A Bird Now, and I am completely enthralled by it.
It rivals Illinois for first place in my books. EVERYONE download it, PLEASE.
