yeah that's what we think it is, but seriously..this guy has been with A LOT of girls and is really confident..so it doesn't make sense.

that happened with a friend of mine .. he's known for being a player and being with lots of girls but when he was with this one girl .. he fell apart. all the other girls were just notches in his bed post and didn't mean as much to him .. but this one girl was really important to him and someone he actually cared about so he lost all his confidence.

I also would like to point out that "saving yourself" is a lot easier for girls, then guys, and not just because of the horomone diffrence. Me and a friend of mine were talking about this last week. She had never experienced an orgasm untill she had sex for the first time with her boyfriend. Up untill then she didn't realy have that much trouble resisting urges or saving herself. After she figured out what she was missing out on, it became a lot harder to go without.

I disagree. If a guy or girl loves their gf/bf, they should be able to wait till marriage to have sex if thats what their partner desires. Ultimately, the idea that sex should be something you "get out of the way" so marriage can be based "the love in your heart" troubles me. Love comes first, not sex. I know thats not exactly what you ment though so take what you want from it.

Secondly, I like Cass, am saving sex for marriage. My reasoning for it mirrors hers.

You're right, that's not what I meant. My point wasn't so much directed towards "getting it out of the way" (that was my poor choice of wording). Really what I wanted to say was that marriage shouldn't be based on wanting to have sex. And if the only reason a man would want to "buy the cow" is to get at "the milk", you shouldn't be getting married at all.

Exactly. That's why I think the argument "why will he want to buy the cow if he can get the milk for free" is stupid. Why the hell would you want to marry someone who's only in it for the "milk" anyways?
