Alright, just got back from the concert - the crowd was nuts. The levels were really off though. You could hardly hear Raine and Steve, and the bass just really overwhelmed everything. Even if I was actually good at recording, it'd have turned out bad anyways because of the levels.

I don't remember it exactly but off the top of my head it went something like...

Angels/Losing/Sleep
Starseed
Picture
Al Genina
Will the Future Blame Us
Where Are You?
Waited (!!!)
Wipe that Smile off your Face
Clumsy
In Repair
Boy
Love and Trust
Innocent
Naveed

Encore:
4am
World on a String
Potato Girl
Somewhere Out There
Superman's Dead

All of this is terribly out of order by the way and I'm probably missing some songs..

they have been adding one every few days.

Look for apology to make it into the set. Raine was telling this kid they like to do it..

Maybe I'll get Apology for 10/14 :)

Hoping they don't start out with the standard setlists from getting lazy from their one week break!

Wow the concert was awesome! My friends and I got to the venue at around 1:30 and got in line. We were the third group of people there. My parents brought us pizza so the 4 hour wait wasn't too bad. After we ate the pizza we met Jeremy and got a picture with him. He was in a hurry, though, so we didn't really get to talk to him. We also met some cool people while waiting in line, like these two girls from Detroit. They had gone to the Detroit and Cleveland shows too and then came to the Chicago show. Finally when they let us in, the girls we met from Detroit saved us a spot right on the bar in the front row. They were really nice. Once inside, Danny (hpdfk) came and met up with us and we talked for a little bit.

Finally the concert started and Joel walked out and did solo Pedestrian stuff. He was excellent and my favorite song was headwreck. And despite public opinion, I liked Danko Jones. I didn't think I was going to like him because all you guys said they sucked but danko was pretty funny and his music was energetic. I wouldn't necessarily buy their cd or anything but I would say they were entertaining to watch and a fun opening band. Their drummer was high on cocaine, though, or at least he looked and acted like it.

Then OLP came out and rocked the theatre. They seemed like they were having a good time on stage and at one point Raine even said something like, "You know, I've been in a bad mood during this entire tour. But you guys just put me in a good mood." The sound seemed good from the front row so maybe it just depended on where you were. I also got some pictures on my digital camera that my friend took and also on a disposable camera that I have to get developed. There was also a photographer from rollingstone.com there so we should see some professional pictures on that site sometime soon.

Anyway, I'll post my pictures up later because I just got home and don't feel like doing it right now. Oh, and when will we be able to hear the bootleg?!

aww. i remember when olp was here and after the first song ended and we all cheered loudly he said something like '' you guys make me feel like i'm a little kid' or something like that. that we spoiled him.

What an unbelievable concert. Waited was unbelievable, probably one of the best OLP moments I've ever had.

Clumsy was an interlude with Mr. Tamborine Man by Bob Dylan and also an alternate intro. 4AM started off with acoustic guitar and the audience singing, then they paused for about 10 seconds, and blasted into the full rock ensemble for the solo. Right before they played Superman's Dead, Raine asked us "Are you happy?". I yelled back "Are you sad?", but he didn't hear, and he didn't play the song. Still Al Genia was a very fair trade. During In Repair, Raine took someone's digital camera and started taking picture of himself. And he climbed up one of the gigantic speakers at the side of the stage. I forget during which song, but wow. It was amazing. I sang every single song, and I couldn't speak afterwards.
Best concert experience ever.

Haha ya that was funny. I pulled out my disposable camera and aimed it at him and took a picture and the girls next to me said he took a picture of me at the same time. :P I'll need to see if he really was aiming at me when I get the pictures developed.

Didn't anyone else notice the terrible levels? I was up in front and the bass was completely overwhleming. I could hardly hear Raine.
