That was a great article, I know of a few girls that I'm friends with who have eating disorders, and they don't need to lose weight. The only people who need to lose weight are those of us who are overweight to the point of that you'll soon have to worry about health problems (that's where I was at the beginning of the summer before I decided to go on my "diet"). I do know that in my school, it seems that the girls seem to be more harsh against each other than guys are toward them. I do know though that a lot of the "popular" guys (either jocks or guys like that) do tend to be more critical of a girl's appearance than those of us who are regular kind of guys. Then again, I know guys that will get picked on if they don't go out with a girl who fits that "mold". I got a lot of teasing for going out with this one girl, and it was just because she was a little short, some people need to look past someone's outside appearance and it's imperfections and get to know these people. Pretty much, a lot of people are assholes who are ruining people's lives by setting this somewhat impossible vision of what they should be instead of who they are.

Personally, I don't think shortness is an "imperfection" ... seems like a harsh word for such a trait. But, I'm too lazy to get into it.

Imperfections make people perfect. The more someone strides to be "perfect" the more they see themselves as "imperfect."

there's no such thing as perfection nor is there imperfection. things are just the way they are.

girls are so harsh on themselves, in most cases a natural girl who is confident in her self, and has a high self-essteem is hot no matter what they really look like. Of course there's such thing as thinking you're a bit to hot too, that's a HUGE turn off for me.
Anyways, point is i knew several girls in highschool that had several "imperfections" but were still very attractive, almost more so then other girls because they were unique.

Girls are harsh on themsleves. Probably because we've all had an encounter with that odd guy who really does think girls need to be perfect, and thinks he should share that with anyone and everyone. Unfortunately, that leaves us thinking that all guys are like that.

haha I am exactly 5'3"
oh and yea, guys tend to like the shorties, which works out because girls tend to like men taller.

Attitude is where it's at.
A girl with great attitude and personality, and nice hair does it for me.
I like hair ok! Leave me alone!
