it's not my thing...but i respect it.

i used to have really heavy unpredictable periods until i was put on the pill over a year ago for a few months. it worked well to settle down the bleeding and regulate cycles. then i went in for anti-depressants, and they took me off the pill because a side effect was depression and suicidal tendencies. so i was still depressed and had terrible periods
so about a year later i'm still on anti-depresssants and they put me back on the pill, and i'm fine.

Also, I may gain 10-20 pounds and bleed like, ALOT for 3-6 months. Suh-weet. :eye-roll:

I wanted to look into the shot too .. how much is it and how does it work? Like is it every 3 months you get the shot? Or am I thinking of something else? The pill is so horribly bad for you though .. but it's cool being able to skip your period whenever you want.

The first time I went on the pill in highschool I actually lost weight .. the second time around going on the pill I gained 10 pds. Same pill, so I don't get it. Then my bf started calling me a cow and I went off of it again. Now I don't have benefits and can't afford it anyway. Plus I have the WORST memory so I was horrible at remembering to take the damn thing everyday.

Am I the only one who wasn't overly sickened? Maybe there is something wrong with me, I found it very weird, but I'm no longer creeped out by these things.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

It might not be quite as gross if it wasn't photographed wet. I dunno why that'd change anything really. But. Just. Ick.

:O you can't get free contraception in Canada :O

Here you can get the pill on prescription from your GP (and you pay 6 or 7 pounds for a prescription) but if you go to a family planning clinic then they'll give you it for free!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

A family clinic here will give it to you for $5 but not for free :(

A prescription through your doctor, without benefits will cost like over $30 a month .. with my benefits I was able to get like 3 months worth for only $12 or something but yeah .. $30 a month is ridiculous.

He called you a cow?! And you went off it?! You should have just beaten him with a stick!!!!

Making art with your menstrual fluid is far less creepy than making it with your other bodily wastes.

Joey, yeah the shot's the one you take every 3 months. Except apparently with the first time, I should only wait 10 weeks, but after that 12 weeks. The hormone in it thickens the lining of your cervix, but for the first three months, it makes your bleeding really heavy and at odd times, but after that it gets thick enough that you don't bleed anymore. Ever. I think that's pretty damn cool. I really hope I don't gain 20 pounds though. going from 130 to 150 is ALOT.

ps, the doctor was british and talked really fast, so i'd advice you to google it rather than take my word for it.
