Thats what I heard too. I dislike sexual orientation simply because it classifies in too black and white. I think love is a person to person thing. Maybe i'm alone in that, I dunno. Maybe people PREFER one sex to the other, I dunno.

And that's why trying to label any individual's sexuality is stupid
I've had a crush on a girl before, and I have plenty of other female friends who have as well. Would you call me a lesbian? What exactly makes one earn this title? To use the obvious example of Sinead's mother, obviously (by the fact that Sine exists) she's been with at least one guy, so does that foreclude her as a lesbian? It's all pointless, really.
