A different question for those who know about banks and etc.
:O I get 5% on my instant access savings account and I can move money to and from it whenever I like for free! The current account that goes with that pays 0.5 - 3% depending on how much you put in every month.
Canada may be fabulous in other ways, but I'm not impressed by its banking.

Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

go to your nearest casino, put all your money on black, and watch it double. then walk away and spend it all on booze, fancy clothes, and a scion.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever

I always joke with my girlfriend that I'm going to do that (minus the booze and I don't even know what a scion is...). She gets mad at me and says she won't allow me to become a gambler haha
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I think if you join a credit union you have to buy stocks in order to become a member. So its like "by the people, for the people".
i don't know if they're different but i didn't do that, i just joined because my mom was a member. i don't pay any monthly fees, and the atm is free.

They use CIBC bank machines and their internet banking is the easiest thing I've ever seen. I used to be at TD but I switched over because they kept charging for stupid things and had a swipe limit and all that jazz. Now presidents choice is the best.
PC banking all the way. It's awesome. Plus, you gain points (much the same way as HBC points) and also receive discounts on groceries

I use National Bank just because it's closest to my home so it's more convenient. I'm happy with it.

Yay! I have a bank buddy!

Besides, who needs these 'bank tellers' anyway?

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

DO IT!
I actually saw on the news that some guy sold everything he owned (house, clothes, furniture...) and ended up with $125,000 or something like that and went to Vegas, bought a suit and put it all on black and doubled his life lol
