I must ask, though... why did you have to take pregnancy tests, Kimmy? Is it really bad to get pregnant while you're on this stuff?

especially the anti-depressants lol.

What does your comment have to do with her quote? :wtf: I'm so confused.

I know of a few people who took it in high school. One guy, holy crap. It was like miracle. One day I hear people making fun of him in the hallway. The next, his skin is as clear as day. But...he is one big weirdo. Don't know if it was the accutane or not...

some anti-depressants have been listed by several government agencies as drugs that cause suicidal tendencies, there are a bunch of them, the most popular being prozzak. it's kind of ironic.

I believe the suicidal tendencies are linked to people going OFF the medication suddenly and without supervision.

"Obviously people can disagree," he said. At a news briefing that included Mosholder and Hammad, Temple added: "We are cognizant that taking these drugs might increase suicidal ideation. But depression alone is a cause of potential suicide, so scaring people needlessly and overdoing it is worrisome also."

Two to 3 percent of children treated with antidepressants had suicidal thoughts or behavior as a result of the drugs, officials said yesterday based on the Food and Drug Administration's most comprehensive analysis of past clinical trials of the widely used drugs.

for one thing
most of those drugs arent usually prescribed alone, theyre prescribed in cocktail form to prevent the 2-3% of kids who have these issues.. and like the first thing i quoted says, depression as a whole causes suicidal ideations and not taking meds because of a 2-3% side effect isnt smart

also that one link you have up there is the opinion of a holistic medicine dude who is quite clearly anti-pharmaceutical company and anti-FDA and therefore is biased.

the FDA themselves admitted to this.

how so?

the FDA also stated that depression itself causes suicidal ideations
and as ive mentioned, for the most part paxil, zoloft, etc arent prescribed alone

I took all of those things and accutane at once to see what would happen
