We hung out for a long while in Gav's dorm room / hallway. Whenever somebody came by, Gav would promptly introduce me...

"This is Rob. He's a guy we met on the internet."

At which point everyone gave us some really weird looks. I think they got the impression that I was a stalker.

However, most people were cool with it when they heard that they've known me for years.

Except for one girl named Erin, who's door I knocked on, and when she opened it I said "Hi, I'm Gav's friend from the internet." Erin: "Oh. ... OH! Well ... um ... I just got home, so I'll be out in a bit. *close door*"

She never left her room after that.
