Yeah, the number pi is pronounced "pie".
But "Life of Pi" is a book about some Chinese guy (I think) named Pi. And I think it's pronounced "pee".

No, it isn't. His name is Piscine (as in "pool"). For short he goes by "Pi". There's even one part where he makes the connection between his name and 3.14159265....

i had the 'pleasure' (it was the most boring pleasure ever) of being lectured to by the author of that book. he talked about the book, and confirmed that 'pi' is said 'pie'.
he also has cool hair. the author, that is.

Well... I don't think anyone saw THAT coming.
Crazy degrees of separation stuff.

Sometimes it's amazing how small this world is.

that's odd cause piscine is pronounced "pee-seen"
also, pi as in 3.14 is only pronounced "pie" in english cause english people are tards

the letter's name is "pee".

so our movie premieres tonight. I'll give you a review of the evening tomorrow. The movie is 35 minutes long and rumour has it it will get picked up for the Cannes festival later this year. Keep your fingers crossed.

ya Cannes has been dying to reach out to the amateur film crowd, and when they heard about our movie with a talking pie they loved it. This is just the first step towards me winning best director at the Academy Awards next year. I can feel it.

I still have not been able to watch this movie, due to the fact that I don't have the program to watch it in. Can anyone make it media player friendly?
