You'd think Americans would be experts at swiping cards. (i.e. Credit Cards)

You don't swipe them like credit cards, you sit them on top of the reader and let it read. Sometimes they don't get read right and you have to swipe again, and sometimes they just don't work and you have to wait for security to buzz you through. It can be a pain but it's much easier than the NYC subway system.

Yeah, we use that kind of card at work too. It was pretty simple for me, although one of the girls I was with repeatedly kept getting stuck behind because she couldn't figure it out

Sand, you can't ride the tube because you're always naked. They don't allow naked people on the tube anymore!

i have to ride nekkid or they'll kill me and they dont allow nekkid folks to ride the tube and therefore i cant ride the tube. christine apparently the answer is yes. im not sure how or why or really how i set this off but yeah.. go me! :sand:

I'm getting a little freaked out by all the fireworks around here. I don't mind them, but I don't like them being set off so close to me x___x;; I think my neighbors are setting them off in their driveway.

It was a snowblower, and I'd rather have the snowblower because at least I know where it's coming from and don't have to worry about rockets flying through my window.

ive had 2 late nights in a row.. and i enjoyed both of em.. have some family friends in town from halifax, well they live in ottawa now but theyre from hali originally.

we basically grew up together kinda till they moved out of town to kingston.. i last saw them like 8 or 9 years ago. we went out for drinks last night to a bar.. and hten an after hours bar where we witnessed a fight (chairs were thrown. yes. chairs.) all in all a great time, mostly spent making fun of others lol.
today they had a party of sorts for their family in town and i was invited (by both their father and them) and was planning on having an early night since i start school in the mornin but i just got in at 1 am.. a night after getting in at 5 am

oh and i met some of their cousins and family and stuff.. their one cousin is hot. like really hot which we talked about haha
