it is unfortunate that the baby, who has no voice here, is the victim of drug addiction.

We busted a 66 year old woman today for shoplifting. I swear, she stuffed a big bag of potatoes in her handbag, along with a small lunch cooler, and some shirts. I couldn't believe it when she pulled that stuff out in our office. I made fun of our APA and told him to go get a better stop or I'd make fun of him the rest of the week.

In a follow up to the guy I busted with the DVD's, he pled guilty in court 2 weeks ago, along with several other charges. He will be sentenced in July.

Where in blazes did that old woman hide all of that stuff?!

The older women get the bigger their purses get.
Teens start out with little makeup bags no bigger than the pencil bags we all took to Elementary school (Mine had transformers on it!!)

As they get older women tend to carry more normal looking purses.

By 60 their carrying large canvas bags for everything. This is the reason why seniors are all hunched over because their carrying their body weight in their bags around their arm.

So why are the old men hunched over?

Thats from the weight of their canes from continuously shaking them in the air at young whippersnappers who are off their rocker.

I missed you. I completely fail at being able to keep up with this place these days. And at keeping up with olp news. New album? what? they were recording things?

I'm a few days away from my last public exam and last ever day of highschool. Been spending this week avoiding studying and trying to pick out my university courses. Still Miles to go, I know, but it's crazy looking back on having joined this place as a Raine-obsessed thirteen-year-old. It's been a long time.

Congratulations! It has been interesting seeing a lot of people grow over the last 5 years. Good luck on your exams, and selecting your courses.

what university are you going to?? what are you taking??

I'm going to Memorial University of Newfoundland. It's all convenient and nearby.

So far I'm looking at a non-specific start to a bachelor of Arts. English, Spanish, Calculus, other-things-I-haven't-picked-yet. I had a course-picking session with some advisors, but I got an e-mail the other day saying that some of the things they advised me to do had prerequisites. That wasn't very helpful of them!

I've considered going to the University of Regina since they have a wonderful policing program there.

If you want help with mun you can message me. I've done enough screwing up in my first and second year to tell you all the things you shouldn't do!

ADVICE: Take lots of electives your first year. Do lots of random things that you haven't done in high school and it will make things interesting. Get all the silly electives and degree requirements out of the way in your first two years so that you can do your program requirements in your last two.

Wow. There's quite a few years between a lot of us. But congrats, you're in for some fun!

See i would offer the opposite advice to Sarah - Take all your required courses and get them out of the way and then have some fun when you have the hang of it all.

That doesn't make sense. At all.

And I know you are trying to be cheeky and funny, but by the time you are in your last year, intro courses are unbearable and dumb, and final courses are compelling and challenging..

Besides you can't do third year classes without having done a certain number of second year ones.. and the same with forth year classes.

I wasn't suggesting taking intro courses for your electives. Usually once you have completed first or second year you are able to take upper year courses in most areas. Also I think it was different for me because being in sciences you have many more required courses so if you put them off you are majorly screwed, actually I don't think it is even possible.
You are right that the intro courses, when taken in your final year, are incredibly inane, unless you are taking them to boost your average.
Be thankful for the opportunity to take electives as there are programs, engineering for one, where you get a grand total of 2 credits the entire 4 years to take what you want. Personally I am not sure that is a very well rounded education.

Hey if you can take some music courses i would definitely recommend it. The ethnomusicology course I took was amazing - i think it was World Music.
