my parents took me to hotels this past weekend, and we almost literally ran into the San Jose Sharks this morning. My sister thought they were a college team because they were to practice at the Harvard rink. But I noticed a San Jose Sharks bag, a luggage tag from Ottawa, where they'd just played, and a luggage ID tag that said the bag's owner lived in San Jose.

canucks vs leafs tonight

canucks better win this one sundin, renberg and mogilny all out for leafs.

and i am so happy with jovo's broken ankle, he will miss some time which means less points this year which means maybe the canucks can afford him next year when he becomes a free agent.not worth the 6 mill he wants, hes not even the canucks best defenceman, ohland is by far

Hey, now. Where's all the hockey fans? Trade deadline's coming up and all that jazz. I just got into a rant about Mario in some thread so I figured I'd come and dig up this thread. Yeah...

Hmmm, who will the Red Wings trade for to buy their Stanley Cup this year? What do you guys think? I just hope Philly can do something in the playoffs for once.

I'd like to see Philly go somewhere in the playoffs. Seeing as how Buffalo would always knock them out when they were good. Bwah. But there's not gonna be anymore Buffalo Sabres after this season. :( Oh well, I'm moving to Vancouver eventually anyhow. I don't think Detroit will get to the finals this year. I think Colorado is gonna keep on charging forward and take the whole thing. Colorado and New Jersey this year.

detroit isnt goin anywhere, not with joseph, i like a colorado/vancouver western final, and i cant pick a winner, i just know that it wont be an avs sweep like two years ago, canucks are much more poised and can make the big plays when the game is on the line. and i like nj from the east, brodeur is for the first time in his career doesnt have a really tight defensive team in front of him and he is still keeping the puck out just as much.

back to the canucks, they are now unbeaten in 9 but with the exception of how they played against the avs they arnt really playing a full 60 minutes which definetelly has got to change before the playoffs ,however my main concern(goaltending) is no longer a concern, cloutier is back to his early season form and i am again excited about thier chances of playoff sucess this year.

Did you see the save he made last nite on Iginla? That was so cool. Haha, at a loss for words. I'd love to see the Canucks make a run this year. They're so much fun to watch.

its amazing where they were only 3 years ago and then 2 years ago making the playoffs and the fans happy after colorado just beat them 4 straight and now this year the expectations coming into the season was top 4 finish and 2nd round , but now we are on a 9 game unbeaten streak and thats not good enough , the fans expect even more, personally id be happy with a division title and 2nd round this year, and make a good run at it next year.

really the team has this year and next year to make a run at the cup , and then the lockout will happen and who knows if the team will still be together, bertuzzi has one more year under contract after this year and naslund two, and naslund has talked about this being possibly his last contract , he doesnt want to be playing at the age of 35 , he wants to raise his family in sweden

I would love to see the Blues win it all. They should make a good run this year. It's pretty sad. The Sabres played the Blues last Tuesday. I wore my Blues jersey. Poor Sabes. :(

The Blues will choke, like they do every other year. Face it, they won't win a Stanley Cup with the team they have. They need to go out and get one or two more players to make them complete...and they need to not catch flying pucks with their face.

I have no clue what the exact bone was, but he definitely jumped, and got the fucking puck in his face. Smart guy, eh?
