LOL I just can't picture Raine singing the line "Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie". Actually, I had a dream about a year ago where Raine was performing this song, and he replaced that line with "I'll remember this someday" in every instance

Everone's a Junkie is one of the most brilliant OLP songs.

Tell you what TW.

I will throw in $100 to the charity of OLPs choice (bringing my total spent on these shows to $1000) if I can request a song to be played in Saskatoon in the second set.

And that song is: Not Afraid.

Haha, just kidding. I know they won't bring that one out of the dustbin.

But seriously: The Right Stuff, or Blister.

Or I'll settle for a quality picture with the whole band. But I'd prefer a song!!!!

 Thanks, at least now I can be sure I'll hear it in some form or another. I hope the band has gotten over their dislike for it, though.

$900 Riley.

That is alot of cash but that is your choice. We all make choices in life. I wish I had $900

Now between OLP and U2( not done yet either). I have spent about $700 for advance tickets. Not done yet cause still got to get tickets for 4 more OLP shows and possible 2 more U2 ones..

I do not even want to think how much was spent on seeing OLP throughout the years.. If I did I probably smack myself asking 'ARE YOU CRAZY?' LOL>

I have friends who follows bands. We say we are putting their kids through school. I know I put through at least 2 kids maybe 3 by now..

To who ever asked. OLP support War Child mostly..

OLP have been my fav band since i was 11...so fast foward 11 years later and I still feel the same way, if not loving them more. I've been to my fair share of shows and spent alot of money, but OLP puts on an amazing live show and, in my opinion, totally gives us our moneys worth. Like i said before ,this is my first time seeing them in Canada, it's a big deal for me..i really really can not wait. Seeing my favorite album from top to bottom (Clumsy) is a dream come true, and seeing SM , my second favorite album, it's just seriously amazing. I really respect the guys for doing this for us. It's gonna be a great 2 nights.

In other words they're going to be playing their old catalogue because their new one is absolute garbage and it took them 7 years to realise this.

Ouch. Their new catalog is not as strong as their old one, perhaps. But it's still good music.

But I really respect the guys for doing this tour. It shows they are a class act.

In Repair is the best song they've ever written. Everyone knows that. Sorry?

Ditto. I had been saving for some sort of trip for a while but still, I don't have any second thoughts.

I'd like to make a note for anyone and everyone meeting the band:

BRING UP UNRELEASED SONGS, WITH SPECIFIC SONG TITLES. THEN INFORM THEM OF THE HIGH DEMAND AMONG OLP FANS. TELL THEM THE SONGS ARE TOO GOOD TO SIT ON THE SHELF, AND HOW IT WOULD ALSO BRING BACK OLD FANS AND BRING IN NEW ONES. Basically, get them warmed up to the idea. But not in a douche-y, pushy way.

And yeah, that was so important it had to be in all caps.

But it makes a difference in person!

And TW, I'm sure we could get a few more to donate money to War Child (I will give $100) if they dust off Not Afraid (the one they did at the Juno Awards).

When I meet them I will ask to have my picture with them (or whoever I can), and then drop hints about b-sides. I will mention Vampires and...Trapeze?

I think now that they've decided to harken back to pre-Gravity exclusively in a country-wide tour, they may be more open to the idea of a B-sides CD. But as much as I want one, I think it would be best to wait until they're basically broken up before they release one.

I suggest dropping hints for Thief!! It seems more likely that they would actually play that one. :)

Honestly, for myself, that is one of the last songs I've never seen them play live (aside from all the Clumsy and Spiritual Machines tracks that I've always wished for) that I really really wish to get a chance to see. I think it's one of their strongest songs and sadly not played enough.
