I wish I didn't have rent, cable, car insurance, student loans, and a credit card bill to pay off, or I'd be able to afford it too.

No no, we have nothing to do with the site now. We went to one meeting way before the site launched to brainstorm ideas. It was before the Drake Hotel show, down the street at a bar.

OLP.net is run by OLP, not Sony. Which is why this is so infurating and depressing.

can you imagine what it would be like at the concert if this crap keeps up? olp would be staring down at a bunch of empty premium seats. or be booed. ahahah. then after the concert, they'd have to hide from inquisitive fans.

nah, they'll still sell out seats.

But now it won't be their fans. It will be people who heard Innocent a few years ago, had a wad of cash just sitting on their desk, and desided to go to the show.

And that's the worst part about this all - the fans, the ones who go to the concerts, buy the merch, listen to the music, KNOW WHO THEY ARE and love them for it, they get screwed.

They'll figure it out eventually, when all the energy that comes from us at shows isn't there anymore - they'll be sold out to people who don't know who they are and the whole experice will be much less intense.

I'm glad I got to see them at Northern Lights, cheap, and in the front rows. Hopefully Buffalo will turn out just as well.

It's not my fault if they made evil plans at that meeting before Drake! My only involvement in that meeting was Matt called me on a cell phone, I couldn't hear a damn thing that was going on, they probably couldn't hear me, and then about 20 seconds later we said what I think was goodbye and hung up!

But yeah, none of the people listed are involved with the site. Stace and some people from Coalition (I believe) just wanted ideas for how to get .net back to a real fanclub, and wanted feedback on the ideas that they have. If any of this crap had been suggested, I am sure that everyone on that list of fans who were at that meeting would have voiced their negative opinions about it then and there instead of waiting until now. I think everyone on that list is somewhere between upset and outraged over this.

I'm thinking that .Net is run more by the staff in NYC at Artist Arena and not really that much OLP involvement...I dunno...is Stace really even involved with it anymore?

I don't think she is that involved anymore. Seems like whenever we told her about a bug or something on the site she had to make phone calls to get it fixed.
