So... trying to find a place to live is hard.
More so when you've already left your house.

I drank too much on Saturday night.

As a consequence, my memory of that night are a little fuzzy.

My eldest cat, Saydie, died from sudden illness on Friday morning. I'm having a hard time dealing with it, so I apologize for my lack of posting much of anything in here right now.

Thanks, everybody. Take care.

to say i would be inconsolable if anything ever happened to nippy would be an understatement.. so much so i guarantee my folks wouldnt tell me unless they knew someone was here to essentially watch me and keep an eye on me heh

Thanks for the condolences, all. Its tough. Saydie was the talker of the house; now, its so quiet cuz the others never really meow or make much noise.

Its rough. Even though she lived to be almost 9; she was still so seemingly healthy and young-acting.

I wish I could've noticed her health issues, but cats hide them types of things so well.

It just happened so suddenly, and I never truely got to say goodbye.

I'm having her cremated; it is gonna be rough when I get the phone call from the Humane Society to go pick up her remains.

Man, thats rough.

I've had my cat Baby for 17 years and I know I'm going to be devastated when she dies. I've had her since the third grade and she's been with me for a good chunk of my life.

Thats how I feel about Saydie. I mean, only 9 years but I've had her since she was only about 10 weeks old. Ya know?

I can't tell yet if her brother Deion is even realizing it. He still seems to be acting normal. But they are biological bro/sister. I hate wondering if he's starting to realize she's not around.

I know how you feel.
Last week we were quite seriously on the verge of putting down my dog Carlton. We've had him since I was five, and I don't even remember what life is like without him. It turned out we could send him away for surgery, but there was an entire day that I thought was going to be the last I ever saw him.

It's rough. At least your Deion has other cats around to keep him company and stuff though.

Go hang out at Staples. its the place to be.

They all tried to send me home today. Instead I stayed late and added a shift tomorrow. woooo. I'm so sick I'm going to die a horrible death. Instantly. Goodbye cruel world.

sorry to hear that neil. it's never easy losing a pet, especially once they've become a part of the family.
