well, i've been accepted into med school in the caribbean, but it doesn't guarantee me a medical residency, and i probably won't be able to practice in canada with it.

i'm not sure i'll be accepting it.
its still possible to get residency and what not in canada afterwards... as for being able to practice its just a matter of writing a series of tests.. if you want, msg me if you ever see me around and we'll talk about it.. i'll get in contact of a buddy of mine (which i want to do anyways) and talk to him about it too since hes doing it here in india and will have to go through the same stuff you would (i almost went that route but decided not to go with med school in the end)
for me it was the stress of med school and the effects on me emotionally being too much for me to handle + the fact i'd have a patients life in my hands at that moment when i cant handle the aforementioned stress adding more stress to the situation and the possibility of losing said patient .. all in all it wasnt worth it and not safe for others so i gave up on my childhood dream.. heh

I did?
Its a bit of a shame that I chose not to pursue a medical career. Who knows what I could've done if I would've been able to make it passed those pesky pre-med courses. :I
