Yeah, we are so understaffed its sick.
Also, Herb apparently decided to not talk to me but go to those above me claiming that I was not doing work and that I was hanging around customer service and not checking in customers.
Yeah. thats exactly what happens Herb. When I take time out of my paid break to clean up because we don't have enough people to keep up with the customers, thats me not doing work. However, when my manager talked to me about this they were like "yeah so herb is saying this, but herb is self-important and full of shit, so ya know, just do what you need to when he is around to pacify him" haha.

oh, haha. Its not an actual "day". We both work at Staples and we had a 'Teacher Appreciation Day' and gave all teachers 10% off. Basically, at least 4 times a day I get asked "do you give discounts to teachers?" and so that one day out of the year we would say ".. yes!"
Now they can go back to being the regular customers that they are.
Also, I have discovered that Customer Service is not a career I should have continued.

My town had a parade today and it was absolutely pathetic. One guy had a tractor and all he did to decorate it was tape on one blue balloon. You'd have to be drunk or blunted to enjoy that parade!
