During Victorian times, teenage girls were forbidden to bring honeysuckle home because it was thought to induce erotic dreams.

I'm overqualified to work @ Staples.
They told me so like 5 years ago during my freshman year of college.

Apparently the same rule of boys applies to jobs: when it rains, it pours.

My mom called last night.......I got word that my aunt (who had stage 3 stomach cancer) is now home to rest, peacefully.

Apparently she has some type of blood clot that is unrepairable, so they are just trying to make things as pain-free as possible.

I haven't cried as hard as I did when I found out; in a long ass time. It was even harder reading the news on my aunt's carepage.

Ugh....I just needed to say something about it because I can't shake it. She was the aunt I was closest too all my life. Now, I'm a 1000 miles away and won't get to say goodbye or anything.

You could always freak out like I do.

Or use humor as a defence mechanism.

I use a combination of both.

I always use humor as a defense mechanism. I've been trying that. Oh, and I did freak out. I threw pop cans off my balcony in a fit of rage. I've been feeling rather rediculous. Slightly, I'm glad I have to work today. I need to get off my ass and do something; get my mind off it.

Generally, I would. However, I'm trying to stop that. I'm seriously trying to clean up my act. As corny as it sounds.

I got nothing. My eyes are too heavy for much comprehension.

Thanks Saman. I know what ya mean. I'm disliking fridays right now. I'm trying to get a hold of friends; get them to come over tonight and hang out so I'm not sitting here by my self. So far, no luckie-poo.

Yes, Herb will interview you.
Here is the lowdown.
He is a smelly smelly man. Very smelly. He is pretty much the only not-likable manager.
What will get you in with him is talking about leadership and customer service. He is all about customer service. Be really upbeat and happy around him and thats all he cares about. To the point where he has hired some truely AWFUL people because they just gave him an upbeat interview.
Other than that, its a three interview process. Herb is the main filter. If you have an interview with him and don't turn out to be a crazy person, then you are basically in. Your second interview is probably going to be either Cecil or Glen, and they really won't care at all. hahaha. The third interview will be my GM Sean. He is a super nice guy and is cheery to a fault. He is probably going to just check your references and that will be it.

...ok so after saying all that it seems like a lot but the last two years when they did this (hiring me, and other people at the same time of the year) they literally did the interviews either all in one day, or like... 2 days apart and had me working there the next week. However, they also didn't check references, but I know Sean does now. So if you get 3 interviews its just waiting for some phone calls and you are basically in. :)
