I'm digging the new song title "Monkey Brains"... reminds me of Everyone's a Junkie...
Anyway yeah I'm thinking TRS is definitely gonna be on the album, I'm just praying it's not a single or at least not the first single.

waiting for something to happen was just sort of a standard song...verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus....pretty good...i will need to hear the album version but it sounds alright
monkey brains was a very heavy song...steve really shreds it...and then there is a totally slowed down very epic bridge with just steve playing clean and raine singing anthemic lyrics....then a pause and a great hard finish to the song....also alot of big background vocals on this one too....sounds like a really great song

I'll agree that Steve stepped up. There were a few songs that still need that second guitar, but I think Steve did good work trying to fill that void. I think he finally found the right lines to play for the bridge on In Repair, and he has One Man Army down.
No matter how cheesy TRS is, damn that is one catchy song. I'm assuming Dreamland, White Flags, The Right Stuff, Monkey Brains, Waiting For Something To Happen, and Escape Artist will all be songs on the album, since it is pretty much done.

Unrelated, some girl wrecked in front of us just as we crossed into Michigan this afternoon. Luckily she was uninjured, and her car was ok as well, just stuck in the snow over the side of the bank.
For the record, how smoking hot is Dominika? Damn hot! Even Heather said she was pretty, y'all!

Checked my pulse
Said all my prayers
Walked a thousand miles
Haven’t gone anywhere.
The table’s set
Change is gonna come
I’m a patient man
But it’s been too long.
I’m waiting for something to happen
I’m waiting for something to happen.
I’m on the road
And driving fast
Keep my ass straight
Steer away from the past.
I kissed your face
And I’ve made you laugh
Remember me
If I make it back.
I’m waiting for something to happen.
I’m waiting for something to happen.
It’s fading, that something to happen.
I’m waiting for something good to happen.
Tonight I see my own reflection
Staring back at me
Traveling with no direction
I follow faithfully
Faithfully.
I’m waiting for something to happen
I’m waiting for something good to happen.
Checked my pulse
Said all my prayers
Walked a thousand miles
Haven’t got anywhere.
But I walk on
I walk on.
The table’s set
Change is gonna come
I’m a patient man
But it’s been too long.
But I walk on
I walk on.

Thanks Teedus. Teedus can you post a link to download the FLAC? I can't connect to Matt on the hub...
Matt or Josh,
What do you guys think of the Sony DAT PCM-M1??
I found one that I'm about to pick up in Toronto for 180 bucks. Supposedly in excellent condition too.
I previously had the Sony DAT TCD-D7. This should be a pretty big upgrade.

Yeah, thanks for posting the lyrics. Any chance you can decipher Monkey Brains' lyrics? I'm interested to see them, since everyone is talking about how good the song is.

Glad to hear that everyone has made it home safely!! It was fun to see everyone together, although it was far too short. We should have taken a big group picture at the coffee shop!
Man... my big ugly hat did a great job of keeping me warm

Now I'm stoked for Monkey Brains.

The album is done? That's good news too. I should probably stop being so lazy and youtube the new songs.
Kathy, where's your sig from? Who said that? I recognize it and I'm not sure if it is who I think it is... *rubs chin*

Hi Shanae *waves*
My sig is a line that Raine said at the end
of the OLP Live DVD (although it might not be perfectly word-for-word as I didn't go back and check it).
Monkey Brains was gooooood!!

*Enthusiastic Wave* Hi Kathy!
Oh yeah! I remember that now... I thought it was Ben Kowalewicz... I could picture him saying something like that. But I totally remember, because Raine's sitting against the wall. Haha.
Youtube doesn't have Monkey Brains yet...

The new song is called Monkey Brains? That's quite interesting. Can anybody give me any idea or comparisons of what the two new songs sounded like? Please?
I'm so jealous that you guys got to go and I didn't.

MonkeyBrains? is an AWESOME song, unlike any OLP IMHO it has a killer Bass line!!!
TRS was easier to enjoy in concert then that bad vid from september but its still gay, Waiting For something to happen, was kinda slow maybe a leftover gravity cut?
But as a package they sounded very good, tight playing maybe a lil heavy on the bass, but i think that was the horrible stage position.
And oh Steve is realllllllllllllyyyyy sounding good now!!!!(wasnt a fan of his shh) he has really come into his own though.
And ofcourse all statements although my own are to be taken as forced opinion upon you unless otherwise stated.
/cheers happy new year

Most of Naveed had killer bass lines, im glad to hear this though, because Naveed is really the only cd that takes advantage of the bass, and thats my fav olp cd, so good haha. I really want to hear this song
