it was weird too. she looked up at me and was like "he's not alive." she wouldn't say the word "dead"

Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown

we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

so i decided to go for a bike ride
(got the bike up to campus today
)
and I turn onto east university and i see that the road's blocked off at willard and south university is blocked off as well. Very puzzled, i continue to ride to the end of the street.
turns out that there is some kids bike thing going on, called the "tour de kids" and there are like tons and tons of little kids racing their bikes down the street and winning metals and stuff.
i felt out of place, lol
mmm and i found out that the park is right down the street from me...and there's SWINGS!!!!
