Why Sarah doesn't like exploring other internet message boards that do not promote OLP:

Example 1.

someguy: "Hey I just started listening to the arcade fire. They're pretty cool. Any one know any other bands like them?"
Me: "Yeah they are a pretty cool band. You should listen to Metric or Stars or Broken Social Scene or other hip Canadian bands if you like the Arcade Fire."
someotherdouchebag: "God! You are trying to hard to be so scene. I mean most of those bands arn't even 'indy' anymore..."
Me: ".....wtf."

Wow, what an asshat.

...and on a similar note, the more I listen to Arcade Fire, the more I like them.

Other band forums frighten me. I went to a metallica one once and all they did was argue over the same shit and call each other names.

I need to keep exploring music. I have stopped and my cousin is catching up to me. It is frightening.

I also shouted out in the middle of drunken karaoke one night, THAT'S A SUPERFLUOUS APOSTRAPHE!!!

They had put an apostraphe in a word that wasn't possessive or a conjunction! I got all upset.

Such is the life of an English major

i get upset when that happens all the time!
and i'm not an english major.

hurrah another hair dye question!

L'oreal Feria Power Reds formulated especially for dark hair :GASP:

Image

i use the one second from the left. it turns out less intense than in the picture if you have dark hair (obviously) and i like it because it doesn't look obnoxious and like your hair is saying "LOOK AT ME. I AM A SHADE OF RED THAT DOES NOT NATURALLY SPROUT FROM ANY HUMAN SCALP. WOOHOOOOO FYAHHH!"

edit: but if you do indeed want to have BRIGHT red hair, then leave it in longer, or try the first shade on the left.

thank you afe :) and I do kinda want that "look at me I am a shade of red that does not naturally sprout from any human scalp" but I'm not doing all my hair red so it shouldn't be too obnoxious. Lol

Haha, one of my coworkers really dislikes my hair. He thinks I am rebelling. But I'm just...not. I'm so not punk or metal or any kind of extreme.
