Sound board looked locked pretty tight other than reg techs. They were pretty anal about recording video and such as well

Are you guys talking about professional recordings, as in a potential future OLP Clumsy/Spiritual Machines Live DVD (or even better - OLP Blu-Ray)??
Because that would be amazing....I need that.

Yes, though I don't think the band has made any plans to do that... I would pay any amount...

ok..so my first review for Clumsy night.
oh. my.
Lets just say today started as a not so good day. Got to detroit, toronto flight was delayed 2 hrs. We actually get to TO around 540ish, couldn't find our hotel, find it at like 630...get ready...leave the hotel around 740...get LOST on the way to massey and we made it there in the middle of SD so it wasnt too bad. Loved my seats. 2nd row stage.
The guys did an amazing...AMAZING job. Steve killed it. he was on his game and performed Clumsy amazingly. Raine's voice was great and Jeremy and Duncan were dead on.
The second set was absolutely awesome, i felt like they were formal for clumsy and after intermission they came out and rocked the hell out of the place.
All in all im in awe right now, it was an amazing night. The meet n greet was alittle rush rush but its to be expected.
CANT WAIT FOR TOMORROW NIGHT.
goodnight all
( ps bree i was standing behind you after raine called everyone up front to the stage, but i couldnt say hi because i wasnt directly behind you lol) ill try to see everyone tomorrow!

Great show tonight. Security was very anal about video, so don't expect a lot of stuff to show up. I got about 20 minutes of crap footage.
Like Sarag said, the first show was very formal and straight forward, and the second set was just powerful. Hot crowd too, which helped out.
Second set added The End is Where We Begin, and Is Anybody Home. No Escape Artist. They played Life, Are You Sad, and In Repair as well.
Breakfast is tomorrow at 11AM at Eggspectations, and we'll meet at 5PM at Mr. Green Jeans in Eaton Centre before the concert.
Good night...y'all!

I managed to get Carnival, 1/2 of 4AM, ALl of Naveed/Kids and 3/4th's of Are You Sad on my digital.NOt sure how they came out .. I almost got all of End but shot off recording after first few seconds. It was so hard to sneak vids.
Clumsy set was a bit mellow. Crowd so subdue. Second set so much better. Also Raine told everyone to get up..
Not in order but here is 2nd set. I let order in room.
Monkey Brains,
Innocent
Life
IAH(which the audience actually sang right-mostly)
End Where We Begin
Paper Moon
OMA
Are YOu Sad
Naveed/Kids
SOT
All YOu DId( which raine told crowd to come down front)
Encores
In Repair
Starseed
Funny thing to mention. Just before doing Clumsy Raine went to a labtop and started typing. You think is he tweeting in middloe show.
" At Massy,. About to sing Clumsy go to go"
or is he chekcing lyrics. He was there about 3 minutes or so. He set up the piano part of Clumsy but y ou start thinking of all these things cause he stops in middle of show to type on computer
The Vids are from Clumsy Song Vids. They did open the show with a video from that tour. It is SOL reading the Our Lady Peace poem.. The other are Superman with Clown vid, 4AM vid and Clumsy Vid.. Rest is just bormal background.
During one song though the screen went from NO DIE O YES. Have no clue what that means.
See everyone going tonight .. Got to get to Breakfest.
P.S Raine plays more guitar. ALmost all songs in second set and he started MOLESTING Steve during OMA> Is that the new Birdman

As for the laptop, it sounded like they're playing to back tracks for a few of the songs to get all of the odd instruments and everything in, so that may be what's up with the laptop.
I thought it was cool how for some of the songs he would go into their story a little bit... I'd never actually heard the story from Raine behind 4AM (although it's obvious what the content means) but was really awesome to hear some of the things he said about the song and how he was scared of it, but was glad he had the courage to go through with it and put it out there for others.
So meet & greet was a slow process, but it was really nice to finally meet the guys and be able to tell them thanks in person for the influence they've had on my life over the past 12 years. Asked them if there was any chance they could play Birdman and they actually sounded kind of excited about it and said they could- so I dunno if we'll hear that tonight, but would be-amazing-

Every rain cloud in Canada is currently centered over Toronto.
SM night was better than Clumsy night. Steve killed on All My Friends. They did a fantastic job interpreting the album.
Off to thaw out now.
