ALRIGHT!!! My week and a half of chaotic fun is finally over, so I'm back. Most people already said most of what I would, but yeah... the show was absolutely fantastic. The fact that a bunch of us were there together hanging out and having fun when OLP wasn't on stage certainly helped make it even better (as it always does).
Thanks so much everybody for making it so much fun. Especially Matt for obvious reasons.
Anyway, the show itself. Well, the band sounded great, though hearing Raine was difficult. I think all I heard of him was what was actually coming out of his mouth in front of me rather than the speakers.

He was I'd say about 2 or 3 feet directly in front of me (I could literally feel his breath on me when he was singing

... and if I'd put my arm out not even completely outstretched, I could've messed with his hands on his guitar

).
The new songs were so very good, and I'm looking forward to the album even more now. It was strange singing the parts from the Promosquad/CC clips along but not being able to sing the whole songs.
Umm, what else. Oh, I got crushed between Raine and the crowd near the end.

He put the mic out to get people to sing along and everyone pushed forward, and since the stage went up to my knees, I basically got pushed onto the stage, but not really cos I was half standing on the ground still. I wound up with my upper arm/shoulder against Raine's... umm... posterior.

Talk about feeling REALLY awkward!!
When everybody was raiding the stage, I tried screaming at them to stop and not let them past me to get up there... but it didn't work.

That was really horrible to watch, and I can't believe people acted that way. People were seriously greedy, it was disgusting. One kid even reached over me as I was trying to peel Raine/Steve's setlist off the stage (which was right in front of me and I didn't go out of my way to go and snatch) and take it from me. He failed...
He did manage to take Raine's Somewhere Out There lyrics from under my purse, though. I was gonna give them to someone else in our group.
Oh yeah, and Steve had Soozy on the brain when he signed my setlist...
Umm... other stuff happened but I'm not gonna take up any more time with this post cos I still have the rest of the board to read.
Oh yeah, but something that I didn't notice anyone else mention. Raine said that they didn't know any more songs than were on the setlist (when people were yelling requests and we all moaned when he said it was their last song). So let's all hope they practice lots more songs by the time we see them again!

Is that the piece that was stuck around my finger??!
