We had an assembly today. At each assembly, there's usually a band of students who plays some songs. Today it was two guys with acoustic guitars. When I came into the gym, they were playing Thief. Pretty damned well, too.

Seven Nation Army is a very good song. I actually like that White Stripes song, which I promised myself would never happen. I feel disappointed in me. Did you get it?
I didn't get dressed today until about 4pm to go to work. I answered the door to the postman in my Ash t-shirt and dressing gown and then realised what I was wearing.
I need a good film to watch. *thinks*

I've had Seven Nation Army stuck in my head since last thursday when the grade 9 science class next to my class mysteriously burst into their own rendition of it, complete with bass, drumming, and frenzied screaming. The walls in our school are paper thin (they're actually temporary/false wall thingies... don't ask...) So anyway. I have no idea what that had to do with learning science. But it's applied 9 so I don't ask questions...

Same with my school! It started out as an "open concept" school. It was built with little to no windows for energy conservation, and the classrooms were all opened to eachother. Then they realized how stupid that was, and put up thin little crappy walls to divide the classrooms up.
