Key is to never work overtime in less severely needed. In my 10 months with my company, I've only worked maybe 6-7 hours overtime.

Usually I can control my day, but if there's a problem with a big client that falls under my domain, I have no choice but to drop everything when something comes up :(

There was an upside to this which I just realized today... as we sat around a boardroom table to brainstorm solutions and work on the finances of the problems, I came up with things people didn't think of. People noticed, and my ideas are a key part of what we're moving forward with. And I was the only woman in an office of 40+ year old men who have (obviously) way more experience than me... I think I really gained their respect.

And my company will never call it overtime when it relates to full time, salaried, professional level employees. Whatever hours are needed, is what you work... the word overtime makes it sound like you get paid extra. Most people (of the 700 in my office) work 60 hours a week, some more some less.

Kudos to you! I think it's pretty hilarious when in some meetings, I'm the only person under 35 in the room  . I get straight time for overtime (i.e. it's like flextime basically).

Yeah, don't mind me...I'm being a retard.

I'm also going to start going mad. Like completly bat-shit crazy.

My mom and my sister are both on liquid diets. I'm the only one in the house that resembles being sane. It won't be for long though. Both are super-cranky from being on medicine and not having food and other things not ment for polite discussion. :freak:
So people are freaking out over stupid things. And then they get mad because you called them stupid.

so I've retreated to my compy to finish this creative writing essay/assignment thats due.

I really need someone who has read Atonement to help because I'm stuck. I had a really good idea but I didn't think it all out before I started writing it. now I don't know where to go with this.

as for word, it usually rescues a copy of what you're working on if it shuts off abnormally. i hope it did so with yours too.

I got it back.

But it messed up my format. Which took me like 20 minutes to fix.
Silly documents.

Do you ever want to make a choice that is completely irrational but know will make you happy? Cause I do...but people are gonna look at me like I am nutso.

There's nothing like a good jog where in the middle this sketchy ass dog comes barking at you and running really fast.

I wore a tinfoil hat when I went to see Signs. I always makre irrational decisions.
They always turn out for the best. Or at least a laugh.

Whatever it is, you should do it!

Go for it, Cass. The decisions that scare you to death before hand are the ones that usually end up working out the best for you in the end.

Well it's not a decision about what to wear or something. It's what to do with the rest of my life! Or at least which way to go for my major.
