Well, sometimes.  Last time I went to Six Flags (overrated) I seemed to overcome my fear, but that happens a lot and it's usually back by the time I go again.

				Roller coasters are tall. 
I like the ones they make for kids to be able to go on, though. The ones that basically just go sorta fast up little hills and curves.

I think I fell in love with rollercoasters even more after I watched some special on how theme parks are created and the theory behind rides and everything and then immediately after that went to florida and visited all these theme parks. It was wicked. 
For me, it seems that riding the coaster itself isn't the point. You don't hop on and say, "oh look at the view!" its that feeling after, that rush of excitement. Its like haunted houses on Halloween. No one likes to be scared, but that rush afterward of giddiness is why people keep doing it..
