First off, I'm not nearly as big of an OLP fan as i was a while back, so for this record i
1. had little to no excitement for at first, so i knew if i liked the clips, i genuinely liked them, since it wasn't like me being really excited about new music from a favorite band (cause to be honest, after burn burn i didnt care if they made another record, i kind of had moved on)
and 2. had low expectations after burn burn.

but this album's shaping up to be really interesting. like nothing they've done, which im glad about. the past is the past..i dont see much of the band's past in this record at all. it's a completely fresh, unique sound. it's exciting and kind of, young in a way. after burn burn the band seemed old...the sound of olp was flat, uninspired, unoriginal. there was no jump. the things they were doing had already been beaten to death. this sounds like a fresh, new, exciting band. Can't wait for Curve.

FITHH: Didn't like at first, but really grew on me. The second half of the preview made me vividly think of OK Computer.

Find Our Way: Possibly my favorite sample so far. Maybe it's just that im a guitar player but the warm, deep tone of that guitar at first is amazing and beautiful.

Allowance: Didn't impress me much..Raine's falsetto in the back saved it from being kind of boring from the clip.

Rabbits: Amazing Floyd meets Radiohead sound. And the longest songs since Stealing Babies. High hopes.

Having heard it, I have to agree with what most people are saying about Rabbits, it is similar to both Floyd and Radiohead, but keep in mind that it's 100%OLP style. Also, you should be aware that part of the reason the song is so long is because there is a long instrumental (with a bit of vocals) at the end of the song, followed by a keyboard outro. Very cool and very unique for OLP, love it!

Damn you. :P Highly looking forward to Rabbits in full.

It's odd, I wasn't a big fan of the studio clips of it, but it looks to have really taken great shape.

Shit! Now i know what you felt when i heard the entire Heavyweight! Shit i envy you astute! hahahahha I'm happy that is a great song...and i'm also happy that Raine told that he is back in terms of vocals! I think that we need to wait all the entire album! Because we need to see what he means with telling that he is back!

Ya that's right, it's karma baby :D Don't worry, you guys won't have to wait as long as I had to for Heavyweight, things are gonna be happening soon! This song in particular, I know it's a strong statement, but I haven't heard anything this exciting from them since SM. And I don't mean exciting like it'll get your fist pumping, but there's a groove and a mood to the song that just catches you...at least it did for me. Special stuff here!

I can tell that for me "rabbits" is the best clip....it gives me chill at the first listen(and also Heavyweight) then i have a good feeling with this song...and with your good feeling on the whole song i think that probably it will be strong! Now these two weeks will not come soon enough! But i accept the wait because it is a part of the music albums :)

Man these clips have me really excited! I can't wait to be able to hear the full versions of these tracks. Rabbits is reaaaallly slick sounding so far.

Not sure yet how I feel about Fire In The Henhouse, but I love the prechorus (?) that they have in there now. It sounds pretty cool to me.

Let's just respect the wishes of TW, here. If someone ripped it, keep it to yourselves. He gives to us, so the best we can do is keep it locked away.

Besides, We got a music video tomorrow and album streaming in 7 days.

I agree. We've only got two more weeks to wait which seems like forever but considering how long we've already waited and all the clips and stuff we've got, it's not that long amd will be worth the wait!

It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

The whole thing is so close now, we can almost taste it. As things stand Heavyweight and Rabbits show very good signs towards the overall quality and feel of Curve.

As regards to Rabbits, the more I hear it, the better it gets. I would say that a good pair of headphones makes such a difference on this one.

I get your concern regarding the vocals, but from what I've heard, from Raine's interviews, it's not really about the vocals. There is going to be some amazing guitar, drums and even bass on this record. Wait til you guys hear the bassline in Rabbits, such a cool groove. I can appreciate the love for vocals, but you'll enjoy the album more if you look past them i think.

I do agree with you there, would love to see some more rockers too! And vocals do enhance the music of course. I know we're all saying it, but, we'll just have to wait and see.
I think it's funny how everyone here (myself included) is already analyzing the record before it's even been released! :D

I was able to hear the full Rabbits track earlier, and I'll say that this is definitely one of their best tracks musically in a long time. Very natural flow, and very Pink Floyd-esque as has been said.

Congratulations to all that got to hear the full version of Rabbits. From the clip it sounds really good.

I'll agree with Bree and DG to whoever ripped it; Keep it to yourselves. There is no need to leak it. The album is released in 14 days and the preview is in 7 days. Remember, patience is a virtue and you'll get to hear it when it is "legal" to hear it.

Not to jump to the topic a vocals again, but Naveed vocals are the closest to how he sings now, minus some yelling and the throat ripping voice cracks.

And I have to say, I really dug his vocals in the 30 seconds of Rabbits. Instead of the fluidness of BB, he seems to be adding variety to them. I approve, as of now.
