I paid $200 to be up front and if some cheap ticket buyer gets anywhere ahead of me, I'll tweak.

Shanae!

I am going to both Regina shows plus the Saskatoon show (in the VIP section!). We can hang out for the band after together. I am going all by myself to the Spiritual Machines show.

nah - for 200 bucks you are getting a 2 hour show in the first 5 rows in a beautiful theater, a kick ass tour book, a sweet lammy, a meet and greet, a poster and um, some other VERY cool stuff that will blow your mind

yeah, it's a good way to sell tickets when maybe their new album isn't doing very well and won't be filling venues, however, it's still dumb to charge fans that much to MEET them. I got to spend all day from like 12pm until after the show with full access to backstage for OLP, Finger Eleven and Seether on the Trailer park tour. Full access to walk around the venue, eat lunch with the bands, go to their dressing rooms, go to the sound checks and meet and greets. The cost? Absolutely free. It also would've been free to party with Finger Eleven afterwards, but I wasn't feeling so great, so I passed. While that may not always be a realistic situation to be in, it's still pretty low to ask your fans for so much money to meet you or for those seats even. Which is why I said they don't seem like the kind of guys that charge their fans to meet them... I guess I was wrong...

Let's see...the cost to reproduce the tour book, laminate, and poster is probably ridiculously low. I could most likely go to Staples or the Walmart photo centre and get it done dirt cheap!

Yeah, I kind of agree. It really really rubs me the wrong way that you're forcing people to pay an insane amount to get front row tickets and for meeting the band. In all fairness, this is something that the really into-it fans will experience anyway. Now you're just refining it to those who can pay more. I do not approve. (On that note, who the does this band think their fans are? Their entire fan base is basically college kids. Those people can't lay down $400 for a concert)
And I agree with Laurel on the poster point. People can buy their own merch, so fuck off with the tour book and poster. No one is buying those tickets for a poster.
Its like when you go to a birthday party when your little and you get a loot bag when you leave. You don't go for the loot bag, you go for your friends party. It seems like bullshit to advertise these tickets that way.

Lets be clear here, you are not paying to meet the band, that's just a bonus, and something that seems to be appreciated by most fans - you spent your hard earned money on the VIP so the guys want to thank you personally for that - and i think that is a pretty stand up move on their part. So once again, you are paying for the premium seat, the tour book, the lammy, the poster, and the other cool stuff that you will get. stuff that NO ONE else will have

Anyways i guess laurel random and lando wont be coming? Shame, they going to miss out on a great show(s)

I didn't realize Shanae was 14! I assumed she was like 20 or something! And hey, Regina guys aren't creepy! Well, I'm sure we have the same percentage as everyone else.

In any case, I am not complaining about the $199 tickets, Trustworthy. I haven't seen them since...2005? So to me it's worth it. And to meet them is a great bonus.

But what are these "extra" things you speak of? Will each VIP member get a free song written and recorded for them?

EDIT - Also, I second the question about setlists. I am not going to complain if they are the same for the second sets. After all, they are already switching up 1/2 of the show. But I am curious if there will be a few changes to make it interesting for the fans that attend both!
