Trustworthy wrote:um, well all i can say is dont base your opinion pf the record off one song ;)

Just have a listen to the whole thing back to front when it drops - it's a proper record that will take you a while to absorb and process...which to me is the mark of something special.

not to give anything away but this is not old olp and its not the "new olp" - this is different , very different. :)

Cool.

and that's still compressed @ radio quality ;)

honestly, there is something very different about the sound of this record...I don't know what it is, or why this is the case, but ya, that's about all im going to say about it or i might get struck by lightening, judo chopped or straight up shit kicked lol.

oh ya , one thing worth mentioning - I have been an olp fan since day one...and from what I have heard I am not disappointed in the least...in fact i am super excited to just sit in solitude and listen to this entire record back to front a couple times...it's got that kind of vibe surrounding it.

So are we ever gonna find out who Trustworthy is? Or are you just gonna disappear after BB is released, leaving me wondering forever?

Not to be off-topic, or nothin'.

unlike you i'm a drug of OLP and all their album....now the song like me and i can't stop singing in my head. I'm sorry for my previous answer on this topic and i'm truly mortified because speaking bad of a work is always unacceptable.
Trustworthy what do you mean with "and that's still compressed @ radio quality ;) "?

well the clip that is going around is compressed and was nicked off the web / radio whatever...

after you BUY the cd and put it in your stereo / rip it to your ipod / play it on your computer you will be hearing it the way it's supposed to sound :)

You guys better be very fortunate that I was able to rip this song in high quality from satellite radio but regardless of this being compressed I think it's a wicked song!

I hear little things in the background that the bass and drums are drowning out. I'm with Jer' ...errrr...I mean Mr. Trustworthy on this one. Wait til' the album comes out. If y'all are complaining then go screw yourselves. Next time I won't share the recording with you guys. I'll just choose who I share it with. Period.

I think we are all antsy. We kinda got hosed to listen to all the shitty music on the Strombo show, only to get a little teaser of the All You Did.

Trustworthy-Any reason why the single can't be posted on Myspace or OLP.net. I know the release date is a little less than two weeks from now, but every band always releases the single early to the fans before it hits radio. Plus after such a shitty reaction from everyone on the single, release the full thing so maybe we can change our opinion and enjoy it. Just a thought. I just think it's a little stupid.

Anybody like the band Placebo? You want to see how to properly release a single and teasers to you true fans, look at what they've done in the past month. A few full versions of studio tracks, live performances recorded in HQ for their fans to enjoy, live performances streamed on radio. I've heard almost every song on the album and it doesn't drop for another month. I think OLP.net is way under potential (sorry Trustworthy). There should be a lot more shit on there and more updates.

first of all - OLP is not "every other band"

second of all - who really cares what other bands are doing?

third of all - you ain't seen nothing yet chico!

Fair enough I guess. But I'm going to make another point I made a long time ago in another post. The level of excitement from the fans kinda sucks right now. You want to book consistent tours and make money as an independent label band, I think what they're doing is a little lacking.
