The problem with this thread is that I'm never sure if what someone's saying is ctrl+v or a response to what someone else has said.

Mine was a response.

But maybe yours was actually just ctrl+v... :GASP:

i am james valentine
As quickly as I can (we leave for Glasgow in less than an hour and I haven't yet found the Italian singing lady of Leeds...I'll explain later, maybe)--

We've played two shows, Nottingham and Leeds, both around 1,900 people. Johnathan and I had stupidly thought that we'd be playing to mostly empty venues, because we're the first thing on the bill...ha! We were underestimating the pure sexiness of the members of Maroon 5, which causes British girls to line up for hours and hours outside in order to be the first in, and the closest to the stage. So both nights it's been completely packed. And loud. Holy fuck it's loud.

And Maroon 5 put on an incredible show. Adam is such a rock star.
Occasionally he cups his hand to his ear in a "let-me-hear-you" kind of gesture, and the sounds that comes from the audience actually hurts, it's so loud.

Last night, Z and I saw a girl just standing there weeping during "She Will Be Loved."

After the show, we had all been planning on going to this club we had seen earlier called Halo, which is in a church. But the Maroon 5 guys ended up deciding to get on the bus and head to Glasgow. At which we were informed that a girl who had been at the show had gone to the club and told them that members of Maroon 5 were coming, so they'd sectioned off a VIP area...and the girl was going to be in big trouble if they didn't show up.

So, yes, she actually convinced us not only to come to the club, but to pretend that Johnathan was Mickey (bassist) and I was James (guitarist). For about two hours, Johnathan and I were members of Maroon 5 in this completely packed club, inside our own, relatively relaxed little VIP area. My cunning disguise consisted of: Adam Levine's sunglasses, which he'd left in the dressing room. The general manager came and asked to have our pictures taken for publicity for the club, with us wearing club jackets. Which led to many more photographs with many more people. The city of Leeds is now awash in photographs of two impostor members of Maroon 5 posing with very excited fans. Because that was the astonishing thing: again and again, girls would come up to us and say that they'd been at the show and had really loved it...and although Johnathan and I had not appeared on stage as members of Maroon 5, and had appeared on stage as ourselves, they all genuinely believed us to be who we said we were.
