Not knowing which day (or month) it is.

For example, I looked at the date for a test I'm signed up for, and I said to my mother this morning, "Oh, it looks like I missed the test. May 13th."

She looked at me and said ".......It's April dear."

Yep.
Losing track of the date and month is really annoying. Especially since I have to know what day it is since I date letters all day at work.

At least your landlord gives you warning. My (sort of) current landlord (the old one) just shows up when I'm at work and doesn't leave a note or say why he was there, but I know he was there because stuff's been moved.

ohh I used to have that problem. I had a brutal landlord, at the cockroach building. He used to sit in my living room and watch my tv and drink beer from my fridge.

And that's just scratching the surface. I won cash in a contest that year at my uni... "worst landlord contest 2000"

The fact that someone said in an email to contact her as soon as possible with interest about a new job, then, when I did, she told me to contact someone else.

going downstairs to do laundry, and walking past a door that REEKS of cigar smoke.
it's a non smoking building, dipshit. you signed a thing when you moved in that said you understand that.

sometimes, too, when i open my medicine cabinet door, it smells like smoke. i'm not sure how smoke from the other apartment would seep only through my medicine cabinet...but it does

someone at work complained today about our back patio being non-smoking.

her rational was that because it's outside, no one can smell or be disturbed by the smoke. we told her quite nicely that there are other coffee shops in town.
