I started a website for my parents. I bought the domain & shelled out for a year of hosting. I am the coolest daughter they've ever had. (I'm their only daughter, but whatever.)

Well, Dave Matthews Band announced a 9-stop Fall tour today. Rochester (December 16 - Blue Cross Arena) looks like my closest show. That'll be my target. Now I have to play the Warehouse Ticketing, Ticketmaster and potentially Ticket Broker game. :freak:

It's a gamble... my exam period falls on the same 2 weeks DMB are on the road. I won't know my exam schedule until November. This could get interesting, because frankly, given the choice between Dave or failing a course taking it again some other time, I'd pick Dave.

Good times.

Today at FYE, a music store around here, they were playing the whole Gravity CD. It made my day.

Today, I had a super long World History test on the renaissance, essay included. It was definetly a doozy...but I'm sooo glad it's done. I think i did well, but I'm used to aceing stuff like that..and I studied sooo much.

I saw a fave. teacher of mine and he was like
"you look down there alana, what's up?"
" I just had a Turner test" (my teachers name is Mr.turner, lol :P)
the he smiled and said: "ahha...welcome to the real world"

Man, this year is gonna be hard. We also had our grad assembly, i got all sorts of literature and stuff..except for it looks like Queens doesn't offer first year criminology or any kind of social science I'd be interested in, and that's for sure my first choice school. I'll have to look into it further..

uh, that's it, screw university, I'm joining the Circus : :clumsy:

yes!!! The circus is the way to go!!! :clumsy:

I just received some scary news:

My friend, who hasn't been feeling well for the past few days, was really sick today. So, when I get home from studying, I non-chalantly read the away messages (yeah, I know ) and her away message was, "hospital." She can be melo-dramatic at times, so I IMed my other friend, and her neighbor and asked what was going on, and yeah, she is at the hospital.

8O I hope everything's ok. She'll be there forever, because the local hospital is the University of Michigan hospital, which is a major trauma hospital, so unless she's bleeding from the ears or is having a major heart attack, she'll be last on the list.

I bought myself 2 tickets to see Alkaline Trio today at St. Andrews. Tickets were $12.50 a piece and I ended up paying $39.90 total. Do the math. I got raped.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

has anyone ever been in a place where they were extremely happy and feeling great when the one they care about is feeling the exact opposite? Thats whats happening to me right now...
