Turns out I got 10/10 on my history mid-term/quiz.

I still can't believe you did that, Melissa. I would never NEVER make it 8 days in a row.

I did six days in a row once...with a couple doubles in there. It sucked so bad. But I made more money that week than I ever have in my lifetime.

Today's latest installment of craziness in Susie's workplace:

Today is payday. Of the 85 people who work in my office, 44 of them were not paid last night Luckily most of those did get paid at some point today, but others were still waiting when I left.

From the confusion of who was getting laid off and who wasn't?

The real question of the day is, why am I sitting here on this computer (with a mighty nice internet connection, I might add), when I should be hard core cramming?

nothing to do with the lay offs. Almost laid off people got money, staying people didn't.

They're blaming the bank, but I think the company are at least partially responsible for leaving it until the last minute and choosing some crazy last minute money transfer system that then kicked off fraudulent transaction warnings and stopped all payments.

it feels like a long day. for some reason i woke up at 9 when i don't have class until 3. the problem is, my class is french, so i've been stressing all day. because i have a dictation test. and i'm BAD at french. i'm just barely passing the class.

I don't think he was involved with the original show at all, but he appears to be some sort of graphic artist/cartoonist/saviour.

But ... it won't be the same! Different writers, different voices...

So we have a stray cat in our bathroom right now. No idea who owns it.
Its a cute kitty. And definately has an owner.

I just played with it. Which wasnt smart. Because I'm allergic to cats.

My dog is going to freak out.

So my philosophy prof comes into class today and says, "wow, i was dispointed with your guys' marks. there is no way anyone should be doing that badly after everything we went over in class. especcially the essays were terrible, and the class as a whole is probably going to need to do extremely well on assignments coming up to make up for these horrible marks. if you didn't study, well then you probably know you're one of the people i'm talking to."

I go "SHIIIIIT" because I didn't study at all (hell, i still haven't opened my textbook yet), but i thought that i'd done passable on the exam. He hands back the exams. i get NINTY-FOUR! wtf! I fell asleep in that class more often than not, and I'm pretty sure I got the highest mark in the class. SWEET.

what have we learned, children? that's right, study skills are over-rated!
