i've got this poster up in my apartment. it looks really sweet against the green wall it's on.
up the road from me is the only bar in montreal that serves absinthe. it's $14 a glass, prepared traditionally (sugar cube, water, fire, the whole bit). pretty good, though of course conforming to canadian standards of concentration.

I'm at my dad's house.
There's still some boxes around here from when we moved to the house before this one.
Last night I opened one and inside were all the stuffed animals my twin sister and I had as children.
It struck me that they'd been boxed like that for years and I wept.
