but actually today after i mopped the floor i was allowed to use my last half hour as "play time," meaning i got to play with the little baby lovebirds and the crippled alexandrine parrot. they're so sweet. :love:

oh, because I've put off asking this particular girl out for far too long and I'm paranoid she's lost interest in me, despite our relationship getting better and better. :freak:

I'm asking her out at 5:30, over the phone. is that lame? holy CRAP I'm nervous.

I keep meaning to ask her in person, and have had a number of opportunities, but I always end up freezing. Now I'm feeling crazy and paranoid, like it has to be today, so I'm calling her, my only option as my semi-insanity is telling me. :clumsy:

and I know she likes me, we flirt a whole damn lot and have weird moments every now and then, I'm just a freak.

sweet merciful crap! I already asked this girl out without even realizing it. :freak:

I asked her earlier if she wanted to go see a movie or play pool before she went away this weekend - since I was supposed to go with her and she was bummed I couldn't come - meaning it as a group thing with my bud who was also not going with her. But she thougt I meant as an unofficial date. It's not that I'm not thrilled about this turn of chance, though it makes my job of turning this into an official date really damned tricky, but really!

What the hell!?

josh, just forget about all the formalities. i'm in exactly the same situation as you (as far as i can tell anyway), and once i just forgot about the whole "does he like me?" "should i tell him?" stuff, things just got wayyyyyy better, and a lot more comfortable.
