Well Happiness and Gravity sound pretty much identical... lol jk... yeah I agree with Flynn, I'm sure their 8th album will sound pretty unique, and I also agree with him that I'm hoping for less ballads. I want them to throw out a single that's unconventional, too.

Oh, and whatever happened to a 3rd single for Burn Burn? it doesn't seem they're going to bother as they're now working on organizing the SM/Clumsy tour and their 8th album. Lack of a 3rd single would support what MOL brought up on the thread about "Burn Burn, thoughts?"

Yeah it would be nice if they put out a single off of Burn Burn that represents it better like Paper Moon, or Monkey Brains.

One more stupid question (even though the last one wasn't answered):

What is the promotional code for the presale tickets?

$200 is a pretty steep price for one ticket. There should be at minimum, two tickets per package. It's not like we're dealing with Radiohead or U2 here.

I agree. Two tickets would have been prime.

I bought my tickets for Calgary today. Now I just need to procure a Halifax ticket on Saturday and my ticket buying stress is officially gone. :)

Yea, I bought my Clumsy tickets for TO on Monday. I took your advice, and am seeing both shows, so now i just need to get regular tickets for SM. I will also be happy when the ticket buying process is over!

I don't trust this Maple music site at all, I bought my tickets, then a day later they sent me an email with a link to my receipt, which I had already received the day before, but there was nothing in the link this time, and for whatever reason they had my Girlfiends email address CC'd in the email, which is fucked since no where was that entered in when I purchased them.

Call them.

There is nothing shady about Maple. A LOT of Canadian bands distribute their merch solely through that website. I've ordered from them in the past without any problems.

Ah, I guess I should have known that... Now I dunno if Winnipeg has a presale. Actually none of the dates mention a presale today.

I think there is a presale for Winnipeg, I was checking through Live Nation last night. You just need the password - which was easy to find through Facebook and .net. What worries me is that I couldn't get any on the floor, just starting on the 1st balcony already. Then I just keep thinking that maybe they are reserving those floor tickets in hopes of getting a lot of VIP sales and maybe I should wait a little bit.

I am going to try to order tickets tonight when I get home.

I agree as well. That's what I was telling my mom the other night when asking for the 3rd time of getting VIP tickets to one show. So far... not looking good for me.

I wait so long for this tour to come, and got my hopes up so high that after knowing how the package has only 1 ticket in it and costs $200... dream felt shattered. As I prefer having someone with me so $400 is too much for one night. Right before Christmas to which is a real pain on such short notice.

If they lowered the price or added a 2nd ticket - it would be worth forking over $200 for 1 night. But still pretty steep price that I'm not sure. I am planning to go to both shows for Ottawa, VIP or not though.

I don't mind where ever I end up sitting, just to be there to hear them is good for me. However if I can I will get as close as possible with whatever tickets are left. My mom prefers to wait a bit which is making me really worried now. I did offer all the money I have to pay for half, even sacrafice my Christmas and birthday presents. :( *sigh*

I won't be relaxing til I have something worked out over this, its all I think about right now lol

While I would be willing to pay $200 for VIP seating, no one that I am going with is. Its starting to look like there might be just 2 of us so it doesn't work for us to split up (why go together then?)

I was all excited too but then the sensible side sets you and you realize that maybe just being there is enough. I know in Winnipeg the seats are basically all pretty good (as most small theatres would be.)

By the looks of it, I'm happy wherever I sit in Winnipeg...

I ended up buying one VIP ticket for myself. I will be alone, technically, but my brother, girlfriend, and mom (Who never stood a chance, I got them addicted to OLP too! ha) will be else where. 200 was too steep for them to pay... but not for me. Hehe.
