Friday night: preliminary discussion of plans....

8:30pm (ish) - dinner somewhere in the neighourhood of the Metro Hotel or Queen and Spadina. We need a generic/universal menu that will appeal to all tastes (Casey's or Kelsey's type... something for everyone)

11pm - Chris Koster at the Horseshoe Tavern (Queen and Spadina) for $6 I love how this just got announced and it works perfectly for our plans :D

Thoughts, input, ideas?

Edit: dinner will need to be moved up as there is now a Pedestrian show in Toronto at 9:30 or 10pm :D

Hhmmm.... I've spent some time with Kruno recently and I haven't noticed any odours. Maybe I don't get as close to him as you do? :P

Kathy wrote:Hey everyone.... here's the most recent list from a few pages back. Let us know if you're missing from the list or if the number of guests has changed.

And if you have participated in the quilt be sure to let me know... we're trying to get everyone who participated in the quilt who is at Edgefest to help hand over the quilt. It's not for sure, but that's what we're trying to do. I need an idea of numbers when I'm talking to the tour manager... we're supposed to keep it to a minimum so just quilt participants.

Kathy + 2 - quilt
Lindsay
Nikki - quilt
R&S
the twins
Sabby - quilt
Christine - quilt
Holly
Tom
Lori + 1
Dom - quilt
Kicker774
Nam
teedus18
Megan + 1 - quilt
Olp_waited + 2 or 3
tasha
Frec-L
Jenny (x__rOCKSTAR) + 1
tori_waited + Erin
Suthy + 1
Deborah
+ a few from .net

you are missing Spirtitual Junkie (Kristina)
need to find out if eric is comming or not.

Also if people can get their butts over to Ontario Place for noon we can have a rousing time in the Mega Maze. Admission to Ontario Place if free on the day fo the concert with your concert ticket.

again (trying not to sound like a broken record) who in this list is not staying at the hotel. I need to know the number of rooms we have booked.

Also if people can post their ETA in Toronto or at the Metro that would really help.

thanks....just over a week!!!!!!!

Christine, I'm not staying in the hotel. I've got a question though, what time are you guys planning on getting there to stand in line?

Kathy,

I love the ideas! More music packed into the weekend -- I couldn't think of a better plan!!!!!!!!!! So far, from what I've heard from Chris's music, I like it! (Thank you, by the way!)

And whatever restaurant you locals suggest should be GREAT! A wide-ranging menu is good -- It will appeal to everyone.

:)

Okay in my search for the Edgefest schedule I found this... no times, but I would bet it's the order (reverse order) of the bands:

OUR LADY PEACE
KEANE
HOT HOT HEAT
NEVERENDING WHITE LIGHTS
MOBILE
EVANS BLUE
MAGNETA LANE
DIE MANNEQUIN
JETS OVERHEAD
THE ILLUMINATI
PEDESTRIAN
DEARLY BELOVED

Okay, so we need to be at the Rivoli to see Pedestrian at approx 9:30... and the Rivoli is also a restaurant. Please see the menu online and let us know if this would work for you for Friday night's dinner.

Is the QE Highway gonna be terribly busy late at night, even though it's Canadia Day Weekend?

Friday night, of course. And late. I'm not leaving here until 3:30approx. and it's about 5 hours to Buffalo.

2 other bands told me they are first too, and the Edge said it's not finalized yet

You should be okay by that time on the QEW. It's unpredictable though given that it's a long weekend.... there are tourists coming in and residents going out.
