the only thing that I don't like about the name is that it just give more fodder for people who will choose to hate the system without even trying it.

I agree with you, I do think the name is HORRIBLE, but it's all about the new things nintendo wants to try. I sure hope they succeed.

E3's been pretty sick, thus far.

Gamespot game Xbox360 the highest grade this far = B+
Sony got a C+
Nintendo got a C

Halo3 finally, officially announced.
Xbox360's next line of titles are looking SICK
PS3 to be priced at 399 (low option) and 599 (high option) TOO FREAKIN MUCH!
Nintendo hasn't announced price yet.....i'm guessing between 199-299

PeterMoore/BillGates announced lots of great ideas and happenings for the 360. I hate to say it, but the console tides are changing.

Here's to the new additions coming to the Xbox Live Arcade: Roobeer Tapper, PacMan, Galaga, Paperboy, UMK3, SFII, Contra, Super Contra, and many freakin more!

Wii set to release between 199-249!! Woo hoo! (Although no formal announcement made)

Peter Moore (Microsoft VP) says he fully backs the "Wii" because many people will choose to take the 600 bucks they would invest in a PS3, in order to get BOTH the Xbox360, and the Wii.

I'm so getting a Wii....the more I check it out, the more I want. Zelda "Twilight Princess" is gonna own my soul.

Also....they got retro controllers coming out if people are not interesting in the Wii Remote/Numchuck connection.

Not likely to be a waste? I'm thinking the PS3 (high vers.) is definitely NOT worth freakin 200 bucks more than the (high vers.) 360.

No way.....Sony is going to rape all your immortal souls.

Have fun.....I'll stick to my 360 and buy a Wii for about the money you're gonna blow on a decent PS3

The four hundred dollar PS3 won't even be worth the money.....

I'm still getting a PS3 too... though not right when it comes out. Probably 2-3 years later, like I did with the PS1 and the PS2.

Nothing about the other consoles makes me want to get them. The Wii's controller is too weird (except for FPS, where it'd be way better than analog)... but, I don't like Zelda or Mario so there's no reason for me to get it. I don't like Halo so there's no reason for me to get a 360. I'm a FF fan through and through... FF13, MGS4.. that's reason enough for a PS3. That, and the possibility of a FFVII remake (..not too likely, but all us FF nerds are still hoping).

the only reason I'd get a PS3 is for MSG4, so I may get one after the price drops.

I'm actually really interested in trying the Wii. The controller's different, sure, but it could turn out to be a lot of fun.

The only downside there is having to buy special controller attachments for every game. But as long as the games and controllers are cheap (which, given the price of the consol, seems hopeful), it should be fine.

Sports games are going to be really cool to play on the Wii. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of Nintendo in recent years but I really think they're getting their act together. I'm probably going to get a PS3 shortly after launch and wait a couple of years to get a Wii.

I love all of ya......but to those of you who get the PS3, I hope your Blu-Ray Techno shizzats the bed, so that I feel like i was able to properly warn ya's.

Wii Sports is gonna rock. That game LOOKS really corny, but the whole feeling of being able to swing the wand, 'n shit, is gonna make it so fun.
