haha thanks Suz!
I actually did end up getting a ticket from some one on the near fantastica site..i think...haha everyone was like "way to meet people from the internet.."...if they only knew! ahaha
LOTGA is literally one of my fave. albums EVER. Native Son....I would kill someone to see that live, lol.
so ya the show was quuiiiite amazing...I saw Matt & Co. last year at the same venue, and holy crap was it waaay more packed this time...like sold out to the max, but somehow I managed to make it 3 people from the front..
highlights included the crowd chanting "K-I-C-K-A-S-S, thats the way we spell success" for a good 5 mins during the encore before they came out and actually did it. It was beautiful.
Also, Prime Time Deliverance and Generation X-wing live =

I had heard Gen.X-wing before, but PTD was beautiful...
then afterwards I was taking a cab to teh bar to meet up with everyone, and who steals my cab but Rich, Pat and a bevy of young girls, lol. I had a talk with Rich which was awesome, but they were going to the bar down the street from where I was going! lol ...
and then I had this weird "i'm a grown-up now" moment. I was obsessed with MGB in gr 9 (when I was 14 right?) and prety much loved them to death all the way through high school and rich was in the band then too..well now I could have gone to the same bar and drank with him, and the girls he was with were my age, but I just felt younger cause I was concert dressed, not bar dressed you know?
haha, it was just weird. WE get older and he just stays the same age. But hey, London is a party town...too bad they were going to the second rate bar that night, lol.
I lost my concert virginity to OLP - Edgefest '97, I was 12 lol. OLP, Tea Party, Collective Soul, IME, Econoline Crush I think...there were more...and then, at that moment, the OLP obsession began!
I hope matt tours again, I've been listening non stop since sat....its great when you get back into an artist who've you've ignored for awhile..memories
wow, that was long. and I'm old. lol
