In an upcoming debate, the Green Party once again does not have a seat. If you care, sign a petition, if not, read on.
I'm well aware that the Green Party is a minority party with no seats. However, it is a real party, not a joke, not a parody. They intend to one day get a candidate in as Prime Minister. They have a serious platform and serious candidates. They in fact have a candidate in every riding in Canada. So why aren't they included in debates? How does a party ever get attention if they aren't in debates and most people don't seem to know they exist, or if they do know they exist, they think they're a big joke? If perhaps someone was involved in the media, on TV, on the radio, people could hear their platform, hear their ideas, and maybe they'd win a few ridings. Their funding is based on the number of votes they receive, so next year, they receive more funding, get an ad on TV, in some newspapers, and eventually get more votes, more funding, and it would grow exponentially. I really think that even if *you* don't support the Green Party, it seems only fair to let them speak up so other people who might can hear what they have to say. Isn't that just democratic? Shouldn't all serious parties get vaguely equal shots at majority? Anyway, the link again is
http://www.petition.greenparty.ca/en/ and I would encourage anyone who thinks the Green Party should have a chance to sign and/or send the e-mail. More info on the Green Party at
www.greenparty.ca and their platform is at

I wait for the postman
To bring me a letter
And I wait for the good Lord
To make me feel better
And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders
Family in crisis that only grows older
Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to go?
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
I am broken, but I am hoping
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
I am crying, a part of me's dying
and these are
These are the confessions
Of a broken heart
And I wear all your old clothes
Your polo sweater
I dream of another you
One who would never, never
Leave me alone
To pick up the pieces
Daddy to hold me
That's what I needed
So why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to go?
Why'd you have to go?
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
I don't know you, but I still want to
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
Tell me the truth
Did you ever love me?
'Cuz these are, these are,
the confessions
Of a broken heart
Of a broken heart
I love you
I love you
I love you
I, I love you...
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
I don't know you, but I still want to
Daughter to father
Daughter to father
Tell me the truth
Did you ever love me?
Did you ever love me?
These are
The confessions
Of a broken heart
Oh yeah
And I wait for the postman
To bring me a letter...

this seems bizzare to me. in every course i've ever taken, i've been told that covering burns with any kind of jelly or butter doesn't allow the heat from the burn to escape, thus making your body a pseudo oven. i'll confirm what lilly said, cool, but not ice cold running water is best
