more frome E3

playstations is releasing a new system called play station portable, it is due out in spring of '05 and will alow you to get stuff off the internet, play games, watch movies, listen to music, and have online game play.

nintendo is releasing something similar, nintendo DS, but you can only play games and have onlind game play, nothing else.

and to note i will probly get an x-box just for halo2 and a game cube just for the new zelda because they both look bitchin', but they won't be as good as kingdom hearts II and Final Fantasy XII which I can't wait for.

I don't feel that exclusive games are such a big deal though. You're giving legit reasons so I won't bash ya for "xbox hatin" dude hahahaha.

I feel that it's about the capabilities. Microsoft brought more capabilities to a gaming console on their freshman system than anything before.

Yes - it sucks to have to pay for Xbox live, but keeping dialup homos from being able to slow highspeed down is a GREAT PLUS.

Halo 2 is gonna OWN, plain and simple.

This Just In:

Half Life 2's multiplayer component will be Counter-Strike 2 as well as Team Fortress 2. OH MY GOODNESS :drool:

In my oppinion this totaly makes up for the delay.

Yeah Johnny, Definitely Skies of Arcadia. It's quite awesome. It was originally a Dreamcast game, but it's on GameCube now.

The only place I can find it for sale is at EB Games and they want like 80 bucks for it STILL! and it's been out for a loooooong time!

So I've been trying to find cheap ones on eBay!

I guess it's SORTA like FF, because you fly in an airship... but other than that it's pretty different. I just rented it because I had a free rental, not expecting much, but it's one of my fave RPGs lately.

It's about a world where everything is in the SKY. So there are basically floating Islands all over and the story kind of follows a mysterious girl who falls from the sky. Because she falls to your island or you rescue her, I don't remember. Anyway you play as a group of good air pirates. (yes there are bad ones) Well actually you play as a I guess teenager and his friend who want to be pirates like their father. So anyway The mysterious girl gets kidnapped etc... So you have to save her and stuff like that and oppose the EMPIRE or whatever they are.

You get treasure maps and have to find treasure and things on different little islands. Fight a lot of different pirates that are on wanted lists and get rewards for it etc...

And those are pretty much like sidequests. It's a surprisingly enjoyable game. I haven't finished it yet since I only had it rented once, so I don't know how long it is, but I think it's a pretty great RPG.

I have a friend who raves about it. They said it was pretty short though. But definately worth it.

When does kingdom hearts II come out???? it's going to be the best game ever :drool:

sounds good, but RPGs rule
