no game room joey but im sure we can find an arcade or something to play some pool.

I was thinking if those who are probable----Joey, Mark, Kimmy, Nam, Alex all come on Friday night we can get another room b/c i think 10 in a room will be far too much. So when we find out who is coming for sure we can figure that all out.

I hope there is a fridge to put the booze in otherwise you are sleeping with booze Joey.

there wasn't a fridge at the days inn .. ice buckets and throw the booze in the tub :D
i'll sleep on the toilet or something .. ack, i don't need sleep :freak:
ohhhh i get the ice .. i love that job! :D
it's okay about the game room .. no need to find an arcade .. i just like wandering around hotels late at night and it would have given me something to do :D
not necessary though :D

Are you serious about staying here? THat is where I am staying. It isn't bad. I prefer to stay a bit closer to Queen, but you are close to alot of things. Eaton Centre, Much Music, QUeen Street and the train is right there on Carlton or College(can't remember which station it was) Plus there is lot on Yonge Street. As for bars and clubs. There are bars on Queen Street( the horseshoe) and Adelaide( I know I spelled that wrong-has alot of clubs) You also have the huge movie theatre and chapters on John(around the corner from Much Music) . The Beer Store is about 4-5 blocks away on Dundas. There is no mini-frige in room. You get free Starbucks coffe and tea. The rooms are nice. Big.

I have to warn you though. Even though it says Yonge Street, the entrance is actually around the corner( on Wood Street). It was a nice hotel. I know it had a pool, gym and restuarant. I remember having a nice breakfest for about $10-$16(CA).

What did you end up paying? Did you use Priceline? I told you I got a room for $50(USA )

we can have another meet up for you cass

we got a room with two queen beds for $83US which isnt that bad at all. We didnt want to take the chance with price line since we may have up to 10 people in our room we want to make sure there is a lot of room. Looks like the beer is going in the tub. We will probably by beer on the way since its probably more in Toronto..like in Ann Arbor where I paid $13 bloody dollars for a 12 pack of bud ice.

Canadian beer's better than American beer, though... isn't it? Not that I care... but I'm pretty sure Monkey wants to try Canadian beer.

Oh yeah, Rob, dunno if you knew this but we got the AAA rate on top of the Travelocity discount.

That's not too bad( room). I use PricleLine cause I know I can get decent rooms for aobut 50-60USA. The golden griddle is a few blocks away on Carlton street. I don't remember how much the beer was. I know you can get 6 packs, 12 packs and 24 packs. I think I paid about 12CA for 6-8pk( Molsen Canadian) Don't remember that was awhile ago. I will tell you that these places close around 9-10 PM. there is no other place to get Beer except the beer store. It is not like here where you can walk into a convience store and get a bottle of beer. They also have liquor there also.
