yeah I really liked the episode too. one of the best in a while.

yes, johnny, castle is indeed good. simply put, it's about a famous mystery novel writer following a female cop around and solving murder cases. it's billed as a comedy/drama/action show

Did my DVR miss an episode somewhere? I only have four episodes recorded. Is that all they played? There's a gap between 10/9 and 10/23. I saw the article says no episodes in November - I take it they didn't air one on 10/30 either?

They played baseball on 10/16, and now DH is off until 12/4. So indeed, only four episodes have aired. Your DVR is just fine!

Thanks! I was getting worried, because it stopped recording Castle (and Leverage, and a bunch of other shows) after the first episode, so I've missed the whole season

Aww. I'll warn you that DH is going to play two episodes a night when it returns, so you'll wanna make sure your DVR is getting both (especially because the first set of eps happens to be a two-parter).

On the plus side, the rest of the series is gonna air on TV as planned. And Joss says we'll know what his next project is by the time the finale airs. Which intrigues me greatly.
