My idea of fun is Canadian culture, exploring places in Canada I've never been, talking to old people, and museums. lol.

oh my. Maybe you will like it here. We are mostly composed of old people and old museum-y things.

And yeah, Gail took a break from the message board scene. I'm not sure if we angered her or if that is why she left, but she'll probably be back in a couple of months anyway.

Uhhh...yeah if you mail it now you'd be lucky if it gets here on time. By you could try!

If it's something light and small you could probably pay for the express mail and it wouldn't cost that much extra. If not, I might be able to fit it in...but I'm not sure. It depends on when it arrives.

How about when we see the Da Vinci Code? Cause I still want to see it. Haha.

Erm....Since you don't have to mail it I'd say you have another week and a bit left, yet.

yeah I donno. I've leaving that up to those who go to edgefest. haha.

Between Rich and Shelly, and Nikki going I assume there will be enough experience there with finding and meeting the band that you'll be able to. haha.

By the way, I'm looking for a really good hands pic to go in the quilt. One from a meetup or concert where everyone puts there hands in with cm/cc/hub written on them. you know what I'm talking about. haha. Anyways, if anyone has a good one, let me know.

Alright, Joel is in on our "secret gift" for the band and is going to help me coordinate. He doesn't know what it is, but he knows it's still in progress and the goal is to get it done by Edgefest. Next step - getting the quilt done on time and mailed! :D

And since Joel is going to be a big help, and in general has been really awesome/sweet/helpful, how can we thank him? Does anyone have any ideas?

we were talking on the Hub and a few ideas were a guitar strap that was embelished by us. Some kind of GL logo. Maybe a leather strap with the GL bird. Or a wall hanging, i could probably quilt the GL cover and make that into a wall hanging..it might be cool

(what the crap is GL??)

and yeah I'd be more than willing to help make something for Joel too. I know I'm obviously doing a lot but if its something for one person than I don't have to wait for all you suckers to mail me your stuff!
haha.

Progress: I got 6 more squares in the mail today since Kathys and Jens came so I'm only waiting on I think 5 people. Which is a good thing. This means it will most definately be done by edgefest.

The guitar strap would be cool, but I don't know how well I'd be able to help, and I want to help! :P Haha.

So...if Joel is gonna help...does that mean...THAT THOSE OF US WHO ARE THERE GET TO MEET THE BAND?!
