I find it ironic that in the list of similar articles, it says "Our Lady Peace goes back to their roots" (which was about Raine saying Burn Burn was "like Naveed"), when really THIS ALBUM is the one where it seems they are trying to go back to their musical roots, but Raine carefully avoids mentioning that anywhere in this interview.

Raine's on Strombo tonight. I'm sure he'll mention the album when he's done talking about Rob Ford and street hockey. lol

“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

And in his introduction I spied a CMer!

Cool interview, end of march for the album release sounds good too me. I wonder if they have an album title agreed on yet?

As per Steve's twitter a few mins ago: Steve Mazur
OLP #8 "Curve" will be coming to you April 3rd. We are very excited for this next chapter and working as we speak putting finishing touches.

Fucking right! We have a release date and a album title, (kind of liked "knives" better but maybe this fits better with the album). Big day! can't wait till the track listing and album cover début. And I hope they do another chapter thing for this album as they did with Burn Burn.

There appears to be some confusion...as per Raine's tweet a little after Steve's:
OLP "Curve" drops 03.03.12! Mar/Apr tour= small interesting venues. Tix available early to http://ourladypeace.com mailing list members.

sooo...April or March??? Confirmation?

EDIT: Nevermind people, Raine has updated, it will in fact be April, also said that the album title was decided just this morning, cool! :)

olp.com is what it is...backgrounds will change up, album art/themes will start popping up here in there. some new additions to the navigation with some cool new things will happen. The site was made to remain the same but easy to change and add/remove stuff from depending on what is going on with the band so during tour you are ognna see more tour centric stuff, for single releases you will see it change for that, videos ;), etc.

That being said its time to get thinking about what to do with .net and how to create something album centric that will be a cool place for fans to check out, so that is deff on the table, just need to find more hours in the day ;)

I like Curve quite a bit, I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the change in direction, the "curve in the road" they are making with this record.
