I usually don't associate music with people. Except, you know, the people who made it. They play a big role in the development of a song.

Unless it was a song/artis a friend of mine was in love with, I usually find songs remind me of time frames rather than people. Although, if I spent that time frame mostly with one or two people, it might remind me of them.

Hmm, I suppose that's also something I do. But not people. Never people. Times are okay though. yaaaaaaay times!

It took me three pages to realize that nobody acknowledges page 1234!

I had 1234 posts last night, but passed it up before I took notice. I realized it at post 1236. I was mad.

I definitely associate music with people. Actively. I try and find songs that remind me of people, or try and think of what i'm listening to a certain way to see if it fits anyone i know.

I used to do that subconsciously.
But, now, it’s become less innate.

i associate music with people and things.
gravity reminds me of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. and Edmonton. (because I was in edmonton, readin HP, listenin to gravity.)
A Perfect Circle's album "Thirteenth Step" reminds me of this highway closeby (no idea why).
Matthew Good's song "double life" reminds me of this crappy little town called Cache Creek. and staring at the halo around the sun. (because i was in cache creek, staring at the halo around the sun).
and IME's 'quiksilver meat dream' reminds me of this other little highway. the tour bus was just leaving this ranch that my school band was staying at. it was awesome.
and sufjan stevens' album "michigan" (which i had misspelled 4 times,

) reminds me of Hedley, BC, a cute little town in the middle of fucking nowhere, surrounded by giant boulders and dead trees.
i'm so bored.

Hooray! We found several two-resident houses and are currently in the process of choosing. I <3 moving. Of course, the last time we did it, I was in second grade, so I didn't have to carry much. I probably won't like it this time around (oh crap, we have to move the piano, I just realized. Suuuuck)

Nevermind, I think the "Careers/ Jobs." thread gave it away.
