I don't see how dumpster diving is stealing. If someone is going to throw it away...well one man's trash is another man's treasure.

I dropped my glasses into the toilet tonight. Of all the times to start sneezing! :freak:

I'm glad SOMEONE finally caught that.

He said he'd just put them on a cart thing and would take them outside like he'd sold it to someone.

I was going to say the same thing.

How is it better that it go to the dump and be destroyed and never used than someone taking it out of the trash? That's so incredibly wasteful... I don't care if it's "store property".

For the record, I didn't actually find the chair in a dumpster. Just next to one. I am not literally dumpster diving.

And I was in second grade, or so!! I didn't know right from wrong then. I was murdering and adultering all over the place.

Next question: What in the hell does monkey need multiple desks FOR?

Maybe it's the principle of the thing.

Pretty sure that if it was next to the dumpster, it was in the trash.

When something's placed in the trash, it becomes public property.

Bah, REMed twice.

Monkey for some reason kept wearing out/getting tired of/needing different desks. Plus he's moved twice and needed different ones for the different places.

yeah, anything in the garbage or intended to be thrown away is public property. if it's store property and the store sees that it is no longer useful and is thrown in the trash then it's at that point public domain.

Why does he need different desks for different places?

Matt, you're going to have to explain the whole 'dumpster diving' thing again. If you're taking something from the garbage, why does it matter if it was once the merchendise of a store, or if it's something someone's tossing out of their basement? Why is that more immoral than letting something potentially useful fill up landfill space?

Different sized rooms, furniture arrangements, etc.

(He really doesn't, but he's weird.)

Oh, okay.

On a less light note, I think I'm going to a funeral tomorrow.

Speaking of stealing, I'm pretty sure I stole something from Wal-Mart last night. Unintentionally. (Sorry Matt)
